My husband and I had rooms booked for an event in Austin. Our event was canceled unexpectedly 2 night prior to our arrival as a result of Hurricane Ike. We were informed that we would be charged anyway due to a 72 hour cancellation policy. If there is any chance your event will be canceled last minute, do not stay here as you will be paying for a room you did not enjoy.

This is a great wedding spot (and a pricey one) overlooking Lake Travis. The grounds, gazebo, and facilites are very pretty and elegant. My only complaint is the drive to get here - having people drink and have fun at your wedding and then deal with the winding, long drive back into Austin seems like a bad idea. But that's probably just me.....

I had a certain image of what I wanted my wedding to be. Lauren at Vintage Villas helped me create the perfect evening! I couldn't be happier! She was absolutely amazing to work with and made the evening so beautiful. Even though the bartender was rude it didn't matter because the food, the view and the service of everyone else was outstanding. I couldn't have asked for anything more!!
Pros: view, customer service
Cons: bartender

My husband and I love going out for happy hour and a good wine. We were thrilled when we moved here this year and discovered the best happy hour in town. Trio is fantastic, the room is beautiful and hip, the crowd was great, not to mention the food and wine which absolutely delicious. They have an extensive wine selection, and Mark the Sommelier new exactly what to pair with our delicious meal. My favorite appetizer is the Ceviche and my husband?s is the Pork Belly, we can?t get enough of it! so this weekend we will be back for more. My compliments to Todd the Executive Chef, as well as the entire staff, everyone was extremely professional and kind. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!!
Pros: Best Happy hour in town

We ended up living here for 3 months while searching for our home in Austin. My husband's company was putting us up there...and while it wasn't an ideal situation...the staff here made it work for us. Everyone was very kind. The rooms offer things other places do not like small ovens and kitchen supplies. This made it easy to cook and keep things a little more like home. Overall, we were impressed with the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the value for our money.
