It would be nice if the service from Unicorn was the same you get everywhere else. The movers showed up at the scheduled time. They confirmed exactly what needed moving. They worked efficiently and carefully. They caused no damage and no mess. They were polite and friendly the whole time. It was also obvious that these were experienced movers who knew all the tricks for getting large things through small spaces without damaging the property. Our movers did a fantastic job! They arrived two hours early and moved everything down three grueling flights of stairs very quickly. I received about 6 price quotes for our move and Unicorn was priced considerably under all of the other quotes. We even bought boxes from them for half the price you would normally spend and we received most of our money back from the boxes because of a special they had going at the time. Everyone we spoke to was very helpful and pleasant! I will be calling them if we have to move again! Pros: Arrived early, worked quickly while also being careful Cons: None

Despite me changing pretty much every parameter of my move at the last minute, they juggled their trucks and their people to bail me out. All their fees were disclosed up front, and they were in constant communication throughout the process. They have my highest recommendation (and deepest thanks!) I have been impressed both times with the promptness and courteousness of the movers. In fact, they were early both times! And, they were able to move us on very short notice both times. I knew as soon as I talked to the people at Unicorn Movers that I had found the company to handle my move. Unicorn provides the service it promises at a reasonable cost, and in an efficient and expedient manner. I highly recommend this company. I have had to make two major moves in one year -- from Los Angeles to Bee Cave, and then from Bee Cave to South Austin. I was not familiar with any in-town movers, so I checked the Yellow Pages and began to research the movers online and by phone. The over-the-phone estimate was fair and accurate. The gentlemen who moved me were just that. . ."gentlemen". . .and additionally, were strong, professional, timely, careful, and HONEST. When they found that I did not have as many boxes to move as I had originally listed, they actually credited me with the items I did not move. My furniture was delivered to my new apartment without any damage and the company followed up to see how I was doing. If a move can actually be "pleasant," then Unicorn can offer that positive experience.
