When I first started getting my hair cut professionally at a salon not only did I go to a different hair dresser every time but I changed salons as well. I never once liked my hair! I tried countless hair dressers and none of them managed to cut my hair the way I like it until I went to BOB salon and Lizzie Horn cut my hair. I loved it! I have been a loyal customer ever since. I don't want anyone else to cut my hair! Not only is she an extremely talanted hair dresser but her warmth and kindness make her a real pleasure to be around! I get countless compliments on my hair and it is all thanks to her. I tell everyone I know that they have to try Lizzie because she's the best! In the three years she's been cutting my hair I have always loved every single hair cut! Hopefully I'll never have to find another hair dresser because I can't imagine anyone else living up to the fabulous Lizzie! Pros: Great staff! Cons: none!

Wow - I am normally so nervous about getting my hair done someplace new but when my beautiful neighbor suggested Lizzie Horn at the Bob Salon, I wanted to give her a chance. Lizzie gave me the best color and highlights I've ever had and fixed the awful color that I'd been enduring for several months. Lizzie took time to listen to my wishes and then worked some magic on my mane! I'd highly recommend Lizzie to anyone who has hard to color hair, or needs a great haircut. She actually understands when you say 'just a trim' that it means 'just a trim' and not anything more. Lizzie's good vibe surrounds her and her work - go and you'll be charmed and happy. I'm never happy about my hair but I am now - thank you Lizzie! Pros: very good price for the quality of care and cut Cons: none - best color I've ever gotten

I went and got my haircut by Jennifer Wilson at Bob Salon. I told her that I did not want it short and she cut it short and it was awful. I complained and requested a refund. The stylist called me and said she would mail a refund check. I have yet to recieve the refund. I also contacted her 4 other times; 2 via phone and 2 via mail and still no response. I am very disappointed in this quality of service.

I have been going to Kate Hicks for haircuts for over a year. She does an amazing job. Naturally, when I was looking for someone to do my hair for my wedding day, I thought of Kate. I went for a trial and found my perfect hair style for my big day. Kate is easy to work with and will make sure you leave happy. I was so impressed by her that I even scheduled my bride's maids to get their hair done by her. She really made my wedding day relaxed. Looking back on pictures, I am so glad that Kate did my hair! It was beautiful! All my bride's maids were happy also. Pros: They serve coffee and other beverages

Bob Salon is such a cute spot. They have a nice mellow atmosphere and the stylists are really friendly. Kate Hicks has been cutting my hair and I love what she does for my bangs. I went in recently with a picture and she was able to totally pick up on exactly what I wanted, plus she had great suggestions to help make the style I was looking for work for my specific hair-type. I am not a hair-do girl and Kate took the time to show me how to maintain the awesome style I walked out with. She's fabulous! Pros: Great service! Cons: W. 35th is a busy street and it can take a few minutes to get in and out of the parking lot...

Bob Salon is so cute and such a friendly, cool place. it is chic but not intimidating, hip but not pretentious. it is a great place to go to get the best style for you. i love what lizzie has done for my hair. until i saw her i went to all the other "top" salons in austin and thought i looked fine. i look back at pictures of my hair BEFORE lizzie started with it and i am kind of embarrassed. she makes me look classy, natural, but cute and fun too. an expert!

I would recommend Sandra if you are thinking about going to Bob Salon. I've been going to Sandra for years! She is highly experienced and it shows. I've been to other, more expensive, salons in Austin and haven't been as pleased. My finicky husband has recently started going to her - and he was happy too. Her prices are also very reasonable. Pros: Never keeps me waiting, reasonably priced, great haircuts and color
