I have been going to Kisma since I moved to Austin back in 2006 - I am lucky to get to go to Anet there - she is awesome!! I have waist length long layered hair and she ALWAYS highlights and cuts my hair extrodinarily well. Everyone knows that a good hair sylist is priceless and Anet and all of the folks at Kisma are truly priceless. They are accomadating as soon as you come in the door. I truly feel like a princess when I get my hair done. They give extra special treatment from the moment you walk in until you walk out. The staff is always friendly and courteous and the positive vibe in the overall salon is contagious! It is very refreshing to get your hair done perfectly and also have a relaxing, positive experience that you know is awaiting you everytime you go to Kisam Hair Co. I highly recommend this salon for anyone, long or short hair. They not only do fabulous work, they make the salon experience a pampering one, and the price is right!!! Kristy is a fabulous stylist! I first saw her for a trim & highlight in August, and my hair was extremely damaged. It had been through several rounds (& colors) of dye, but she managed to take off the damaged ends & get some lowlights of blonde back in rotation. I saw her again yesterday, and she was able to lighten it another level, and again take some damaged ends off. In just two visits to Kristy, my hair is healthier than it's been in over a year, and I'm back to being a blonde again! Thanks, Kristy!!! Pros: Kristy Fennewald

The first time I walked in I was not sure what to do with my hair. I talked to my hair stylist and soon after was greeted by the owner, Annette, and given a somewhat lengthy consultation. Very professional and personable from the start. Laura Ann does a terrific job...very detail-oriented, very much in tune with her customers needs/concerns and always attentive. When I suggest any kind of change I always feel I'm in capable hands. She not only does a great job with my hair but gives great scalp massages and pedicures. I'm a real stickler when it comes to good customer service and this salon personifies it...from the people I'm greeted by when I walk in the door, my stylist, the other stylists and back to the owner. They have it down to a tee. I'm always offered a drink, get a complimentary service every visit and a footstool under my feet if I desire. Why go anywhere else? Pros: Best Customer Service in Town Cons: Really? Oh...there are none...first rate!

I have rotten hair. If I tinted it blue I could be Marge Simpson. In my whole life, no one ever complimented me on my hair...until I went to Kisma. My office went nuts. They said I looked ten years younger. A perfect stranger complemented my hair at the dry cleaners. I almost cried. Laura Ann did a fantastic job. But to tell you the truth, every stylist was turning out great 'dos when I was there. It took me almost a decade to find the perfect salon in Austin. But it was worth the wait. Pros: Attentive, Skilled, and Fun Cons: Nada

I am always offered a drink when I come in the door and I get a Scalp or hand massage every visit! Trust them with your hair, you wont regret it. Pros: Always get a great style no matter who I see
