I went in for a bit of a change, but after my stylist spent about 20 seconds listening, she tossed me to the assistant to wash, brought me back and proceeded to give me a hardly noticeable trim. She did not bother to trim my growing out bangs from the front, or any little snip after the blowdry was done. No questions about how I might wear my hair, how I might like to change my hair, nothing. There were no offers for a beverage or magazine(something any other decent salon offers) and no real interaction except for a discussion about her social life. A salon that purports to be high-end should not hire such young, inexperienced stylists with such little passion for actually doing hair! You are better off at any other salon in town. The salon is cold, utilitarian and has no focus on the customer.

As an existing client of the milk + honey spa I had really high expectations. I could tell that it would be a great experience even before my visit. Scheduling my appointment with their front desk was a breeze - the woman I spoke with was upbeat, had lots of good questions, and provided outstanding customer service.
Their facility is beautiful - so clean, bright and modern. My appointment was with Carissa, who was recommended for being great with curly hair. She was amazing. Very attentive, thorough, and educated me on the PHYTO line of products, which I was interested in. My cut looked great, and I will definitely be back. She set me up with a good haircare routine of products, which are leaving my hair super soft, shiny and bouncy!
I really pay attention to the little details when I visit a new business, and the milk + honey SALON won me over from start to finish.
Pros: Amazing staff, feel great afterwards

i have that uber popular posh spice hairstyle....the one that is all the craze like jennifer aniston back in the 90's, right?! well, anyways...i have a lot of hair with unwanted volume so this cut was sometimes a pain to style the way i wanted it to look. i had been getting my hair "thinned out" because i had so much, but it wasn't until i went to milk and honey salon and i was told WHY i was having difficulties with my haircut. my stylist- dee ann (love her)- told me that thinning out my hair was a "quick fix" to get what i wanted but then after 2 weeks, those areas would start to grow back and cause unwanted volume and make me look like a mushroom ( i said mushroom, not her). dee ann was the FIRST stylist to educate me on how to get the most wear out of my cut. she told me about this treatment that would straighten my hair, essentially taking gout the unwanted volume- not permanently like the japanese one. this was a chemical free straightener (yeah!) that would last 4 months! so i decided to do it- after how beautiful she'd made me look and feel- i really trusted her. it's been a month now and i can let my hair air dry- AIR DRY!!! and it looks flawless. i haven't had to flat iron my hair once since i've had the treatment done- completely worth the investment! thank you dee ann, thank you milk and honey salon, thank you thank you thank you!
Pros: love everyone and everything- they even take care of parking for me!
