So my sister kept going on and on about her stylist Ron. Mind you my sister has long beautiful hair I would gladly sacrifice an appendage for. It had been about a year and a half and she always talked about " Ron" like he was the best stylist ever. I am very particular about my hair, since I feel a hair cut/style really can affect how good and " girlie" I feel. SO after much wooing we set up a "tandem" appointment. Mind you the first hair cut was great but I had done a lot of damage to my hair with the color, and abuse I have bestowed upon it through the years, so it wasn't the "dramatic" change I anticipated...an awesome cut to be sure but you know what I mean. He cut a bunch of my hopeless tresses and sent me home with a hair care regimen......BUT TODAY we set another "tandem" appointment and I am one very happy camper!!! Not only is it a great cut ,but the cut fits my "boney" face! Ron listened to what I had in mind, made sure not to "freak me out" with taking the time to take baby steps (cause that's what I needed.) Also, Ron seems like a genuinely nice person, so that's always a bonus. ...Nice and cuts a mean head of hair??? crazy huh? The salon is great, the staff know what they are doing, and the location can't be better. Worth every penny and more! Pros: atmosphere, skill, friendliness Cons: can't think of any

i have been to a few different salons in Austin since I moved here two years ago. I usually leave any hair appointment I have had relatively unhappy. Either I don't like the cut becuase my stylist doesn't care what I want, or I just feel unwelcome and the service is not too good. But I have been to Aziz twice to have my hair done by Holly and both times she was absolutely wonderful! The first time, I left there so excited I swear I told all my friends about it. Plus, my hair smelled so good that the second time I went to her I bought all theproducts she put on my hair. The people were so nice and helpful with the products and were polite to me while I waited for her, which only took a couple minutes. I have recommended this place and espacially Holly to so many people and a couple of my friends have said they love how she did their hair too. I don't plan on switching stylists anytime soon, but I do plan to use some of their other services as well. Pros: service of stylist AND other staff Cons: sometimes parking can be dificult

I decided to check out this place after reading all the glowing reviews-totally not happy. I had a facial, pedicure, and a blowout done. The facial girl was nice enough, but she kept pushing products and the room was dingy, nothing matched and the equipment looked old.I could hear people out in the waiting area throughout the whole service. Not my idea of relaxing. The products left my skin irritated. The pedicure was mediocre at best, and the polish was chipping after only a couple of days. And the blowout? Great if you want to look like you just stepped out of the trailer. Oh, and did I mention the facial girl was half an hour behind, so I was late for my other treatments too. I have had much better service for the same price elsewhere. I will not be back. Oh, and if you look a little closer at some of the reviews here; they are all placed on the same day in the same all capitals. Real slick. Aziz manager, I hope you read this: If you want to encourage people to visit your business, do it by offering great service in a great atmosphere, not by writing bogus reviews for yourself. I feel ripped off. Pros: convenient to downtown Cons: rude staff, poor service, dingy.

I have been going to Aziz for the four years that I have lived here, and I swear that I will never go anywhere else, EVER! They really push to fit me in when they could easily just say "no." My hair has never looked better. (which coincidentally is done by Sarah Horne) I am 35, and the skin therapists have worked with me throught adult acne and sun damage, and I swear I look as if I have had a face lift, and look 27. Yay Aziz, I love you! All I can say is that you MUST try them!

Everytime i go to aziz i have a great experience. I usually have my hair/nail done but my husband knows to get me aziz gift certificates for my bithday every year. This time i used it for a medical facial. I am so happy with the results i can not brag enough about my skin and the corrective products that i was recommended to use to keep improving my condition. Thanks to the professional services that aziz offers i will never go anywhere else, can you tell im a happy client, probably always will be. Today was my boyfriend's 23rd birthday and yesterday he and I found out that I may have a life threatening brain issue (tumor or otherwise). Sarah cut my hair today and made me look wonderful for my date with my boyfriend tonight and made this haircut beautiful when it could be my last for a while. This is a great salon. This was my first time at Aziz and it was fantastic! My stylists' name is Sara McDonald, she has 10 yrs experience as a cosmetologist and it shows. I got the best cut and color I've ever had. As long as I live in Austin she'll be my stylist! Also there's another Sara that works there, she's blonde, and she did my friends' hair. It came out beautiful. It's a very classy cut/color. We had a great time there and walked away feeling pampered and really excited about our new looks! I recommend going there!

I made an appointment for a full day of services to relax. The staff here is very friendly, but I found the whole spa to be anything but upscale. The decorations are cheesy and the equipment is not what you expect at a luxury spa. My facial was anything but relaxing. The technician was very harsh when rubbing my skin and the sink was extremely loud. The massage was good enough. My haircut was done well. The manicure was ok, but I've had much better. I would only suggest this place if you are not picky and it is a little bit cheaper than others, but for a good reason. Pros: parking, friendly staff Cons: not upscale, facials

I recently visited Aziz for my hair. I had highlights and a cut and LOVE my new do. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly. I also started to use some of their hair products, a brand I had never heard of, Alfaparf. It is an Italian line and my hair has never felt, smelled, or looked better. I also received a facial and brow wax while I was there. I love my brows. I tend to break out from some waxes, and they used a hard wax and I have NO breakouts. I strongly recommend people to try this place out.

Looking for a hair sylist is a NIGHTMARE! I looked at city search and saw a couple of places that looked promising. I picked Aziz because it was the ONLY one that had a ton of good experiences. I made my appointment with Ashley and she is wonderful! She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She did a really great job and she isn't crazy expensive! I love what she did and I will go back to her-she passed my test with flying colors! I got a cut and highlights-looks amazing! Ashley is great!!! Thank you so much! I found my new sylist :) Pros: everyone there is super nice and friendly! Really easy to find and the parking is great
