I've been in this store a total of 4 times and everytime it's the same. The selections of Cigarettes and prices are good but the workers (really not working...) are preoccupied with something else or someone. Just once a Hello would be nice. The gas prices are pretty competitive too so when I'm in the area I stop and ignore them, as they do me.
PROS:
CONS: Workers not too attentive.

I love that I can literally go months w/out setting foot inside United Heritage (my bank). I have never had a problem with them, they're awesome. My check is direct deposited each pay period and I can always rest assured that it will be there and my bank will take care of it. I have a great checking account with them, no fees whatsoever, free web billpay. I pay all of my bills online and never have to worry about dropping payments off at the post office, standing in long lines at the grocery store to make my payments, writing checks, buying postal stamps, everything is done like clockwork w/ a click of the mouse. It's great. I'm very satisfied with this credit union and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new banking facility.

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for over 4 years now. I have a total of four accounts and all of my finances are dealt with through Wells Fargo Bank. I went as usual today to this location and the personnel told me that I could not deposit my cash into an account. Usually, they look up the account information by the name on the account, but at this time they refused to do so. The so called " Manager" ,Tawana, was extremely rude to me, and told me to take my money elsewhere. Then I called and the same "manager" Tawana answered and proceeded to lecture & scold me and tell me how I was irate. Yes, I did used select language, however it is frustrating when they refuse to take my buisness when I have banked there for years and I have so much money in this bank. I will not be banking with Wells Fargo anymore. I do not think it should matter how frustrated a customer is, customer service is supposed to be a service to assist your customers. I have has several issues with this bank in the past but this was just the icing on the cake. And I am only speaking of this location at Scofield Farms. However, The gentleman that helped me when I went inside the banker that helped me, Patrick, was very friendly and he understood why I was upset and he was very professional. As far as the other staff at this bank goes, thier professionalism is questionable.
Pros: Bankers inside can be helpful.
Cons: Rude Staff

How can a bank provide adequate customer service when they do not list individual branch phone numbers in either the yellow pages or on the internet? All I wanted to do was make an appointment with a notary to make sure they would be there at noon and to insure I did not interrupt THEIR lunch hour. I had to call the general number which serves all branches (approx. 20) for Austin. When they did not provide the option to speak with an operator, I fudged calling a random extension and then I could press "0". I got someone whose computer was down due to lightning, which I understand. But she did not even have a hard copy of branch numbers. How much time do individuals and business waste on this kind of amateur business practice?
Pros: Spoke to someone who did not have back up hardcopy info.
Cons: Poor phone number options

Closing my late mother's accounts has been a three month exercise in incompetence, chaos and confusion. To even try to accomplish anything, I must go to a branch. The South Lamar branch seems to have a revolving door personnel policy--I rarely even saw the same person in the banker position, despite going on the same day of the week each visit.
To add to that, each time I went in, the previous visit's promise to "take care of everything" turned out to be empty. Often what was done was incorrect, or incomplete, and I kept finding that I had to insist on specifics to accomplish them.
It took three visits to try to get the checking account transferred into my name. Yes, I had all the legal documentation. The third time, the branch manager told me I didn't need to put the account in my name, since I didn't need an estate account. This was the opposite of what one of her bankers had told me on the first visit.
When I went to close the two CDs, I found out that they had not been transferred to my name either. In addition, I found out that my social security number had been put in for the Tax ID number of the Trust, which I had NOT known of or approved. The Trust should have it's own Tax ID Number. After an hour of cooling my heels in a banker's cubical, he returned to tell me there were "two forms that had to be signed by a branch manager" in order to cash out the CDs. Unfortunately, he informed me, their branch manager would not return to the branch for two days. He would not give me the forms to take to another branch, or even tell me the names of the forms. It was all very suspicious.
I then went to the branch on Wm Cannon, but it took 2 hours to finally get the checks for the CDs, and the procedure there was nothing like what the banker at the S. Lamar branch described. They didn't even know anything about the "two forms"! Curiouser and curiouser....The reason it took almost two hours to get the checks, was that nothing had been done to put the CDs in my name, and in fact, we had to apply for a Tax ID Number on the phone, to get everything correct before I could close the CD account.
I CANNOT recommend this firm. The attitude of the banker, branch manager and tellers at S. Lamar was that I was the dead rodent in their lemonade. Now is that the way YOU want to be treated by your BANK?
Pros: They give you free popcorn and coffee--WHOOPEE!
Cons: They make it up as they go, no continuity, very chaotic

Horrible!!! I am a recent victim of fighting fraudulent charges made to my account. I'm completely shocked by the lack of assistance. I have been robbed & the bank that I have trusted in expects me to live off negative monies for 10 BUSINESS days while they straighten this out. As a single-parent needing gas in my car & food on my table, I'm going to find that hard to do with NO $. Aside from the struggle, the most disturbing aspect has been the complete disregard for customer service. It is the holiday season, so it is easy to be pushed-off because those with authorization are OUT. Those that are IN disrepect the urgency & won't get the help necessary. At the Far West location, the so-called manager should lose her job because she is not doing her job. I only hope that one day she'll be in a similar situation. Naturally, I'll be switching banks!!
Cons: Customer Service is a LOST ART!

said it didn't go through, paid cash $50, called the bank to see what was wrong, they said nothing, and confirmed the $50 charge. Employee who took the $50 laughed, so did the manager.
Cons: says your credit card didn't work, takes your cash
