Donn's BBQ is one of the those Oak Hill secret gems. It's located just past the Albertson's on the "Y" and it's got one of the most tender, tasty and most affordable BBQ anywhere in Austin.
Unlike most BBQ restaurants in Austin, they get to the point. Their take-out family packs easily feed four and are all in the $15 area. You can't beat that deal anywhere else.
Price aside, their brisket is excellent. Not fatty at all and smoked to perfection. One of my favorites at Donn's is their turkey. It is moist and falls apart to the touch. Yum.
