I purchased my car from then in 2004 and I have gotten nothing but great service from them. They have honored the warranty every step of the way and have done everything in their power to make things right for me. I am very happy with my car.
The salesmen do swarm you the minute you park in front of the dealership...normally I'm not even out of my car yet...but I think this is probably normal for most dealerships.

I looked online at shops when my car started acting up, and saw groovy had some complaints, but I live in the area and my car died..so I had it taken to Groovy. I am SO GLAD I did! They were AWESOME!The guys were all friendly, they repaired my car fast, at a fair price, and it is running better than ever. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks Groovy mechanics!

I've been a Volvo lover from way back and a customer of the local dealership for at least 10 years. Bought last Volvo from Tony Garcia in September 2006. I wanted a Volvo that did not look like the new made-by-Ford models. I wanted a Volvo that looked on the inside and out like a classic. Tony found what I asked for in less than a day. A sporty 2000 white Volvo sedan with tan leather seats and that classic Volvo look that is timeless. Smooth ride. Well-cared for trade-in that had just arrived.
When I'd had car for less than a week and battery failed, sales staff got it fixed for me.
Service is great. Tip: Call in advance for regular service and reserve rental car.
Sales staff not stuffy. No pressure. Fair negotiations.

I have taken my car to groovy lube several times and have had no problems at all. They are fast and their prices are very reasonable. Their newest location on lamar makes them even more convienient, especially since they are next to several restaurants so you can just drop your car off, have lunch and when you get back it's done. I would recommend them to all.

I was extremely impressed when the tech called me after seeing "jet carb" on my ticket and wanted to know exactly what i expected him to do. We talked for several minutes about all the possibilities and what my expectations were and what performance, mileage, etc. I was currently getting before adding performance parts i had now. Wow! You mean you don't just want to stick it on and take my money? He then gave me to expectations that if we didn't' meet we failed and needed to try again. He also set my expectations properly by letting me know we may not get it right the 1st time but he would work with me until we did. Well, here's to you Bud and your crew! I'll be back and I'll bring friends!

Elite has worked on or diagnosed at least eight vehicles for us over the years: Ford F350 diesel, Chevy 3500 gas, two volvos, an escort, a mercury villager, ford contour, and a saturn. One of the volvos required some unusual work and I wish my son could use him, but he lives too far away. They have always been fair and reasonable with me, and have answered all my questions. On at least two occasions I have seen other mechanics from the neighborhood come over to ask questions. That's the best thumbs up anyone can give a mechanic!
Pros: they know their stuff

I have takren my car, my girlfriends truck, and even swapped rims with a friend and They have been nothing but helpful and understanding when I happen to apparently run over nails about 2-3 times and replaced my tire in a timely manner. You need to get your car in early and communicate what you feel is wrong. They have even patched a tire for free and replaced two faulty valvestems. As far as my rims go they use the tape on type which other places are finally doing with newer tuner rims becoming popular. These guys rock and really should be visted to understand the quality of service.
Pros: Quick service, get in early!
Cons: Not enough parking even during the week

I am a Classic Car Dealer who could go anywhere for tires and suspension related work. I have spent literally thousands of dollars at Tireman on tires for everything from 65 GTOs to Mercedes AMGs, and they continue to be my Tire Shop of choice.
They are hardworking, reasonably priced, and most importantly, they are 100% honest. Besides that, where else can you go for tires and be in and out in less than 30 minutes? I have been going to Nolen and his dad for as long as they have been in business, even back on Lamar, and I have NEVER been disappointed in either their level of service or their prices.
They are my first choice for tires in Austin. (I'm not sure what planet that other cranky lady was from, but that is just not how Tireman does business. No way, no how, and I should know.)
Pros: Fast, Friendly, Reasonable and Totally Honest
Cons: The shop is not Ritzy, but who cares? Give me cheap tires and fast service instead.

I have let these guys paint all of my projects and I have been completely satisfied every time. I think filpnotic is on hipnotic because the work has always been great. When ever I meet with these guys i just let them do their work and everything is great. I don't know what the last customer is talking about becasue i have never had a problem with any paint that they have done for me and that make 3 different jobs. Although I do remember this bike being while I was getting some work done. If I am mistaken this complaint look to be around that same time. This guy was unhappy with a stock paint job right off of the showroom floor what a dirt bag. I guess you can't satisfy every guys but keep up the good work. This is the only place that will do what you ask.
Pros: can get virtually whatever you want.
Cons: have to make an appointment

I took in my old Ford mustang (not classic old, but 8 years old). They were having problems getting all the parts to fix the car. However, the manager went above and beyond by not only offering to give me a ride to “anywhere” but Dallas but took the time to walk me through what was happening. By keeping me in the loop, beating the price that a competitor quoted me, and doing a quality repair (the Stang runs great now) I highly recommend Lamb’s on Slaughter.
