I have found that New Bohemia has far better prices than a lot of other kitschy retro stores in Austin. As another reviewer mentioned, their jewelry is especially reasonable (and fabulous too if retro is your thing). They also have a wide selection of housewares, handbags, shoes, clothes for men and women, and just general knick-knacks. I also love that it's connected to Parts and Labour - it makes the place feel all the more customer friendly. It's no secret at this point; I even saw the designers from Trading Spaces shopping there while there were in town filming. Vern Yip and I both think this place is great!

Neat little clothing store! They also offer lots of accessories! Great for a cute bohemian outfit for the perfect Austin day. They also have lots of vintage clothes. I actually found an awesome deal on a coffee table there. I had pretty much given up on finding a good deal since there are so many antique dealers in Austin who know what they have or redo the furniture and sell it for so much more. I found a beautiful Lane coffee table, a little beaten up, for 10 bucks! I am going to refinish it myself! I saved myself well over 100 dollars on this deal.

New Bohemia is probably one of my favorite retro/vintage stores in Austin. They have tons of "stuff" like clothes, jewelry, shoes, appliances, furniture, etc.. the list goes on and one. They have things here that I never new existed like a portable bar that I got for $15. It folds up and looks like a small suitcase but inside is a shaker, two glasses, ice tongs, etc. Cool! The prices here are a bit cheaper than your average vintage store which is a plus. Their jewelry prices are especially reasonable.
