Well, I had an okay experience. I'm not big on lingerie since most of it is uncomfortable, but I really like the sexiness of the lingerie my husband and I picked up at Candie's. Yes, a lot of the stuff is trashy there, but if you are going to have a moment with God or looking to be fed intellectually, spiritually or emotionally, you're at the wrong store. I have to chortle at the people who berate the store's stock because it's "trashy". Most lingerie really is just that. The point is to be attractive/appealing to the one you're trying to turn on. I feel absolutely ridiculous in lingerie, but my husband loves it and loves to buy it for me (for himself when you really think about a gift like that!). I go there to spice up the bedroom. Perhaps there are cheaper places, but honestly, I've looked around, and the selection was better, and it wasn't any worse than Victoria Secret as far as price. We got several pieces for under 125 dollars. Pros: They have a good selection Cons: They are expensive like Victoria's Secret

I am divorced now and need a little extra help in the bedroom. When my hubby and I were married, he took me to some very dumpy adult places. Ick, you know which ones I mean. A girlfriend told me about Cindie's and said it's more friendly to women. She was right. The manager at the location by the ice skating rink helped me out so much, she knows everything about all the stuff they sell. I didn't feel uncomfortable in the store, it was clean and bright. I would highly recommend this place to any girl in need of some spice! Pros: Tons of stuff to choose from Cons: Maybe too much- can be a little overwhelming, so ask for help

I didn't think the prices were outrageous.... yeah, some things could be a little over priced, but you are in a specialty store, so it is expected. Cute outfits and lots of selections. I totally agree with the disappointed customers. The only good thing about this store is that it has bachelorette party supplies but they are all overpriced and could be found elsewhere. The store is just trashy and the lingerie is the same brand that can be found in the nordstrom lingerie department for like 1/4 as much! My sister's friend that worked there a few months ago said that boss was really unfriendly and demanding and didn't give the employee's adequate breaks, and that they are constantly firing and hiring people because no one wants to work there. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I stopped by the store for the first time the other day and I have to say I fell in love!! I read some of the other reviews and I am not sure if they even visited the same store that I did. I came in there to buy a few items for a friends birthday and ended up walking out with way more then I ever needed. The store is very open, bright and FEMALE FREINDLY!! I will come back to this store there's no doubt in that.... I might even bring some friends! Pros: Female Friendly, Clean, Helpful Cons: Finding which off ramp to take off the freeway was a pain.

I've been a weekly customer since the store opened. It's huge, it's well manicured. You feel safe and not creeped out. The decor is bright and the colors are fun. The selection is crazy. GREAT FOR BACHELORETTE, WEDDING gifts! They are still new to Austin, and I know their inventory is growing. I talk to the girls during the day and they tell me that usually Cindie's has even more merch than what they have now because the store is still developing. Hard to believe because they have a ton! You can plan an entire romantic evening. You can buy some massage oil, a personal massager (if you catch my drift), a couple's toy, lickable treats, some bangin' outfit, some silk boxers for your man, some hotttt shoes, now all they need is to sell champagne and a romantic dinner to go! Well, I have fun at this place. You can see photos on their website of their locations. You can judge from these photos that the stores are clean, well lit, open store fronts for women. Safe, not seedy, a little campy, but great to me. Pros: Good prices, great selection, safe, clean, fun, you'll have a blast. Cons: For people who live in AUSTIN a bit far, but I live in Pflugerville- it's convenient for me!

I was excited when I saw an ad for this place in the Chronicle, but completely dissapointed upon my visit there. Bad service, rude employees, overpriced items, horrible location... it seems like the other reviews here were not written by actual customers. It had a very creepy vibe and seemed poorly run. Don't waste your time at this place, there are many better places in Austin for this kind of thing like Forbidden Fruit and Le Rouge.
