They have food and drinks, bowling, arcade games, air hockey, pool tables, and if you just want to sit at one of the tables and watch you can. If it a nice environment for all ages. It is big enough to accomodate quite a crowd on any given night. You can always join a league if you want. The price to take your family out is cheaper than going to the movies

You can find the 60's - 70's hippie kind of items on display on the corner of Water St. They have neon colored candles in different shapes, tie-dyed t-shirts, body jewelry, earrings, incense, and etc. It has little lighting in the store, but teens don't mind they like browsing or buying these unique items. They have sales going on most of the time. For a small place they have a lot of merchandise. I recommend this going to Cosmic Charlie's if your looking for a unique gift for your teenage.

Great service, very good, traditional Japanese fare with some unique twists on same...the prices are a bargain. My wife and I ate a very well made lunch with soup and salad (fresh ingredients and delicious) for $21. We didn't have room for dessert! I lived in Japan while in the service and this food is authentic.

I grew up here in Augusta, but now live out of state. I've eaten all over the country -- and the only other place &'ve ever had pizza approaching Whipper's/Damons was in Nashville, TN -- New Your Style and it was pricey! So there I am - eating my expensive pizza and thinking Wow -- I could have had Damon's!
Furthermore - it's not a big secret that their bakery provides a nearly endless wholesale supply of italian bread rolls to other establishments , etc -- the likes of which can't be obtained anywhere else at any price. While it's true that they hire a lot of high-scoll age help; -- it's also true that they're helping younger people get some financial footing & assisting w. real life's lessons about career choices. While the owners are devoted to their faith -- I also know that they are very non-discriminatory, accepting people. No trip back home would be complete without a trip to Whippers / Damons.

We needed a new hot water heater so we called Augusta Fuel who came promptly to our house only to tell us that they didn't have a hot water heater as small as we needed. What impressed me was that they called around until they found one that was the size we needed. They installed it in no time at all. The men who put it in were so kind and friendly.
