This shop has a wonderful selection of carefully selected imports that represent the best of Irish craftmenship vaailable today. They have a delightful assortment of clothing, jewelery, decorative accessories that would make beautiful gifts or instant family heirlooms. The friendly staff is very helpful with product information and clothing sizes. There are excellent values here compared to other Isrish shops, TV shopping or internet items. It is a pleasure to avoid handling and shipping charges for speciality items.

I love BALLYHUGH! I am a big fan of authentic national gifts, etc. I'm not Irish but my husband is and so is my son (although slightly diluted by me:). My in-laws are all very proud of their heritage so at least every Christmas and occasionally other special days I go to Ballyhugh for them.
The last things I bought there were a favorite for my sister-in-law's baby shower present. I got a Celtic flute lullaby CD and an embroidered baby alphabet book entitled "ABC's of IRELAND". I think the proceeds go to a charity called "From the Children of Ireland to the Children of Africa". I bought the book because of it's quality, simplicity but also because of the charity associated with the cloth book.
Anyway, there's a great assortment of stuff there. I love to look around. Be careful around the crystal and pottery though!

If you need a little more green in your house, come here. We had an Irish exchange student in our home, for a few months, and we made frequent trips here, for some of their delicious irish imported food. The sales people are lovely and they always converse with customers, it's a very homey atmosphere, and I guess makes you feel like your in Ireland. They have great bumper stickers, keychains, some Waterford, and other Irish greats.
