I just went through the same experience as Nancy F the other week. The CertainTeed Window installed by Northwest Windows & Doors last year in 2005 cracked during the cold weather the week after Thanksgiving in Seattle. Nothing struck the window from either side, but just simply cracked from top right corner diagonally to the bottom left corner... I also believed I had lifetime warranty, but not for cracked window and my warranty doesn't cover it...same excuses given to Nancy F. CertianTeed didn't even bother taking a look or even ask any questions from my claim, but simply took no responsibility and told me get fixed from another outfit on my answering machine... What's up with this warranty and with CertainTeed Windows!?

We took estimates from 6 local roofers and Tyler from Washington Lifetime Roofing was by far the most knowledgabe and detailed. He examined our roof carefully and pointed out concerns and technical specs all five other companies missed. One such technical spec was such a concern to Tyler that he asked the owner to come the next day personally to verify it could be done without voiding the new manufacturer's roofing system warranty. It turns our that it would have voided the warranty had any of the other companies had left it! We are thankful we these guys.

We remodeled a bathroom last year and used John and Debbie with great satisfaction. Very good folks to work your options with.
Our bath has L-shape with two lavs, Corian top, (between
their base and two cabinets on top), so there was a bit of coordination needed with the Corian contractor. We included a neat slide/rotary shelf in the corner to utilize space. I did the plumbing. We recut a large mirror and reused the pieces for two frames made by NwCDI.
Installation is very friendly and nice looking, and economical as they used catalog cabinets.
We are working with them on a home office remodel, which is another way of saying we are pleased as return customers.

Words cannot fully express the quality of service that I received from DEA Construction. This is a very honest company and the quotes are excellent. Not only will I recommend DEA Construction to friends, but I will continue to use them. This is a company that you can trust. There was no surprises after the work was performed. The estimate was the price that I paid when the work was done.

Lowe's is not my first choice when it comes to home improvement stores but they fill in as a last resort. I do like their plant selection and they have a one year guarantee on them. I don't think they have as nice of a selection of items like other home improvement stores.

Alliance Propane is located in Auburn, which is more than a stone or two's throw from North Bend. However, Alliance is making inroads into the upper Snoqualmie Valley against their larger competitors due to better pricing and more reliable billing.
For the first few years we used the dominant propane supplier. We continually had problems where we were over billed or our account was nearly sent to collections because they improperly recorded our payments.
When Alliance approached us about switching to them (requiring swapping out tanks and canceling our contract with the other provider) we made the change, but didn't expect they would be that much better.
Now when the truck rolls down our long, bumpy, dirt road we can expect to see a friendly face who's happy to stop and chat for a while. We've had no problems with billing and the prices are always cheaper than the competitor's even when you compare agains thte competitor's contract prices.

Very responsive, quick to come out and fixes are done very speedy and cleanly. I had Ron fix a leaky ceiling. It was done in 3 hours, he even cleaned it up after so that I didn't need to do much sweeping the floor/vacuuming. I am looking at getting them to replace my windows too.
