Not only is this Zoo Free but it is kept clean. My Grandsons enjoyed the Zoo so much last year that now we make sure we visit the Zoo every year while staying in Wildwood.

If you live in New Jersey and are spending some time down the shore you should stop by the Cape MAy Zoo. The parking is free and so is the zoo all they ask for is donations. It is a very nice zoo too. It's not as big as alot of other zoos but for being free it is great. They have just about all the same animals as the bigger zoos do. Alot of it is also shaded by trees which makes it nice since it gets hot. They have alot of benches too to stop and sit on if you feel tired or just want to sit and relax and look at animals.

The best thing about Cape May Zoo is that it is.....FREE! Yes, that's right, there is no admission fee, but there is a booth upon entry to make a donation to the zoo. The exhibits are first class. We love strolling through the zoo to see the African savanna and to visit the reptile house. The zoo is well kept and there is so much to do! There are also picnic pavillions, a really great kid's playground, giftshop, and eatery. The food can be a little expensive, but you could always bring your own food and picnic!

Cape May County Zoo is a great place to spend the day. Young and old alike will love it there. Don't forget to pack a lunch cause the cost of food can be costly there. But there are plenty of places to sit and have a picnic lunch. Great playground for the kids too.

This zoo is by far one of the best on the east coast. Most of the zoo has been re-furbished over the past 15 years and is a spectacular tourist attraction or facility to teach young and old about animals and their habitats. You can expect a safari adventure, a trek through a warehouse-type monkey house, the opportunity to feed lurakeet birds right out of your hand in a huge cage, or a swan ride on the zoo's lake. The price is a bit high but their membership is very cheap - makes sense to purchase the membership so that not only can you visit this zoo multiple times throughout the year, but also other zoos nationwide. The Zoo is a 5-star zoo that everyone must visit!

If you are looking for a place to go to take a great day trip for the family, then you REALLY need to check out Cape May Zoo. The zoo is free for everyone and very well maintained. They have all kinds of animals. Tigers, giraffes, etc..you know all of the animals you would expect to find at a zoo. There is also a park where you can bring a picnic lunch, go fishing or hike on the trails. No matter what you do, you will have a great time.

The Cape May Zoo is a wonderful place. For a Zoo that is ran on donations only is have a wide variety of animals and it extremely clean. My parents always use to take my brother and I when we use to go on vacation down the shore and now I take my son. They do not charge as earlier stated but they do ask for a donation. To me that is more then worth it. It can get extremely crowded so go early and dont forget to visit the reptile house.
