This little hole in the wall may not jump out at you but it's worth finding. It's located on Clairmont Road right off I-85 across from Sams Club. It's a charming little French restaurant with a very homey feel. The wait staff is very kind and I got the impression that most of the customers were regulars. I know word of mouth is their main advertisement. The rolls are fantastic, the portions are quite large and the drinks are not skimpy. I recommend the Chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and garlic. YUM!
One night of the week (I think Tuesday) they usually have bottles of wine for half price.

I had never heard of this restaurant until a girlfriend recommended it and I am very thankful she did. This is a really great place that I can take my 2 1/2 year old to early enough in the evening or take my husband for a 'hot date' later. Fairly modern decorations with paintings from local artists on the wall. The wine list is fairly extensive and the can help you with pairing questions. The real star is the food. Superb! The portions are huge so you eat family style. My favorite meal is the Rigatoni with Vodka sauce which is just to die for! The food is extremely reasonably priced so we usually (okay, always) splurge for the 5 layered chocolate cake with rasberry sauce. I drool just thinking about it! Delish!

Two Urban Licks is in a converted warehouse that has been filled to the brim with strangely shaped lights and exotic paintings that frame the city skyline.
I went with a large group and we sampled nearly every item on the menu. I thought the innovative appetizers were the highlight of the meal, with the delicious spicy lamp lollipops draped with goat cheese and grape chile being the thing I most remembered. The garlic bread was the most delicious I have ever tasted.
The entrees were less memorable, some of them being simply over-spiced and the quality of the fish was mediocre. The desserts were wonderful though, with cupcakes and ice cream nicely complimenting a spicy meal.
I though the prices were reasonable, especially for the wonderful appetizers. If you love spicy food, I recommend simply ordering all the appetizers and then having dessert. Skip the entrees. If you see something that looks good that goes with an entree, simply ask for it. We got the gouda grits and sweet potato fries, listed with entrees, separately and they were worth it.

What a treasure for pasta lovers. Pasta Da Pulcinella is in a former house and has the feel of being in someone's home for a party. Very warm and inviting with low lighting that's perfect for a date. They have a nice wine list and a full bar which always helps. :)
The pasta is absolutely amazing and really is worth the trip. My favorite is their apple sausage ravioli which is pasta shaped like apples stuffed with ricotta cheese, apples and sausage served with a brown butter sage sauce. Unbelievably good. One friend says she thinks it's a little too sweet and goes for the mushroom stuffed ravioli (shaped like mushrooms of course). The meal was truly one to savor and enjoy. Highly recommend.

this restaurant, serves authentic food cooked by authentic natives, I think that it is the only restaurant with the exeption of some taquerias in buford hwy that serves authentic food! and yes if you are expecting a burrito or enchiladas topped with a pound of sour cream, I will suggest anyone to go to Nuevo Laredo or Willy's which are Tex Mex, this is an authentic Mexican restaurant they use creme freshe (crema fresca) instead of sour cream and maybe a drizzle to compliment your dish not to hide the fresh flavors of the food!! and by the way Mexicans do not put sour cream on a grilled piece of beef (fajitas) it is a NO-NO! meat and sour cream?mmmh??

Great food, fun atmosphere, and quirky decor. The waitresses are as charming as their retro outfits and I've yet to encounter one in an ill mood. The menu ranges from classic diner fare to soul food to more new age selections, but all items are prepared to order. Comfort food is king while salads and specials can be hit and miss. A veggie plate here is not so much a compromise as it is a mouth-watering alternative. Prices, while not cheap, are reasonable for the quality and quantity. There's a complete soda fountain so milkshakes, floats, malts, and even flavored Cokes may be had. Be prepared to wait at peak times (weekend mornings, most evenings). They're no longer open 24 hours, so you'll have to sneak in before midnight on the weekends to get your fix.

In a city overrun with Thai restaurants Thai Palate stands out. It's a class act from the minute you enter the contemporary dining room. Chances are one of the owners will greet and seat you and offer you a cocktail if you wish from their full service bar. The sauces are the key to our favorite appetizers, the Thai-style fried shrimp and the roti canai. The chef's special seafood and duck dishes are delicious and tantalizingly seasoned and plated.. as are all the dishes we've enjoyed. Thai Palate will spoil you.. it will be the standard by which you measure other Thai restaurants.

The night before Thanksgiving with Atlanta being fairly dead HALO was vividly alive, sophisticated and sexy without an attitude. A very discreet entrance reminiscent of chic Manhattan establishments from clubbier days opens into a cavern of beautifully lit space. Raw concrete posts contrast with a polished alabaster bar that glows from within with a very flattering warm light. The staff offers excellent service, is there when desired and otherwise stays out of the way. The crowd is largely made up of attractive, affable young people a not ashamed of being friendly and visibly enjoining themselves. Drinks were drinks and nothing was overpriced or silly. HALO is a definitely the current highpoint on the Atlanta bar scene. Go for the atmosphere and mix with the crowd.

My very first time was a little overwhelming because of the crowd. I love the pizza, it has a great fresh taste unlike that bland taste of pizza hut and other franchise pizza restaurants. I recommened this this joint for anyone who is looking for pizza way out of the ordinary over cooked american pizza. I feel that it may be a great place for anybody single and for one who is very social.. For a taste for all your senses try this place, I'm sure you won't regret it.
