The grungy surroundings and well prepared tasty food draw an eclectic crowd. It's one of those places I get cravings for. The spinich tortellini with meat sauce is really good as is the jerk chicken.

Bobby and June's Kountry Kitchen is a landmark in the city, serving up barbecue and southern comfort food for years. Open for lunch and breakfast, the line snakes out the door for the tasty "meat and three" served up by waitresses who call you "hon" and keep your tall glass of sweet iced tea constantly filled. Friday is "roast beef" day, with the meat slightly smoked and covered in a gravy. The cornbread and biscuits are heavenly.

Let's start with the place itself. Simply put, I'd never seen a place like it before...

Falafel King occupies a tiny inconspicuous space right off of the intersection in Emory Village. Housed in a building that would be more appropriate for a Chinese eatery, this establishment attracts many Emory students and staff for lunch. Thanks to the cheap but quality ingredients, it has reached a near cult-status with Emory students, who have formed a conference on their online community for the sole purpose of discussing this establishment. Their falafels are fried fresh, and they use fresh vegetables and condiments to garnish sandwiches. They also have some Japanese dishes, owing to the ethnicity of the couple who own the store. Despite the cultural incongruities present throughout the store, the food is unquestionable top-notch.

i have always had a fun treat at 'Hot Wok'. A combination of chinese basics with indian spices , the place offers mouth watering dishes. The spice levels are flexible and potions are medium. Don't expect a great service though, the nastiest is when you order a spicy dish and the waiter doesn't come back to refill your drink. I just go there for a casual dinner.

Located in the heart of the city , this place is good for a relaxed lunch or early dinner. One of the best italian places in the city , I've always found them courteous and good at service. Expect long waiting time if you happen to be there during peak hours. But the wait is worth it.

It is overpriced for the kind of food they serve. The service is really good and the place is pretty posh.
Can go there for a first date or sorts. Personally I have eaten much better food for half the price. Very few vege varieties available and the potions are medium. The food as a whole is bland though they let you exersice choice with the spice level.

This place is really popular among Georgia Tech students, but I really don't care for it. I've had real authentic asian food from Chinese to Korean. This place isn't that good in my opinion. One time I had sesame chicken, but it sucked so bad. Their rice sucks too. I've actually gone another time, reluctantly, and got some pad thai. I can't say it was bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. I guess if you're a Tech student, you might as well go cuz it's not too expensive. I'll stick w/ Umezono for Japanese, Seoul Garden for Korean, and even Panda Express for Japanese. You have to admit Panda Express is the best Chinese mall food that even beats some restaurants in my opinion.

Neither the food nor price would lure you into getting back to this restaurant. Not even the non-veg varieties are palatable. You are better off driving a few miles ahead and looking for a better Indian place. Even if you have eaten there before, don't take it as your introduction to the indian food.

Vegans no longer have to scrower through menus and try to find something edible. Everything at Cafe Sunflower is vegan, even the dessert! Good food and great service, what more could you ask for?
Prices are a little higher than most restaurants and the portions are smaller than what a typical American might be used to. But, it is still worth checking out the best vegetarian restaurant in town. Just don't bring a large appetite.
