When I was traveling to Atlanta often, I'd love to get my hair done at Van Michael. I had several different stylists but all were attentive and understood what I wanted done and how to do it. Each time I loved the outcome, whether I wanted to go shorter or let it grow out a bit. The prices are a little on the high side but overall very worth it!

If you struggle with make up whether it be application or finding the right color combinations for your complexion then Chameleon is for you! Not only did Pandora spend over an hour with me and my mother, showing us how to apply the makeup correctly but she found the perfect colors for our skin types. I can't believe I wasted so much time and money on makeup that I just ended up throwing out and never using. Never again!

With over 30 different styles of Yoga to choose from I think it's safe to say The Yoga Center is truly dedicated to the art of Yoga. I only attend once a week with my friends but every instructor that I have encountered is patient and knowledgeable. They also sell first rate yoga gear.

Return to Eden is a one huge grocery store that specializes in healthy foods. When I became a Vegan this became one of the few shops I was referred to and now trust completely. Their selection is phenomenal and the prices aren't too bad (a little higher but you get what you pay for, right?). They also have this great little kiosk with a touch screen that offers up loads of nutritional information and assistance with all types of dietary needs.

Sevananda is a market full of healthy vegan, organic, and all natural foods. Located in Little 5 Points, it a large consumer owned cooperative with a 25 years history. If you go definitely try the fresh made food from the kitchen. The salads are out of this world and served in very large portions. And if you want to learn this is a great place because they offer cooking classes which have helped me tremendously.

I fear this place, seriously. The feel is all wrong with what can only be described as cold and sterile like a hospital. Besides this the facials are sub par at best. After leaving this place my face was red and irritated so much that I went to a dermatologist to make sure I did not have an allergic reaction to the products they used. Instead I found out my sensitive skin was inflamed from rough treatment. Making matters worse I brought my mother with me as a treat and the same thing occurred with her skin. I would be weary of this place.

I spent a day at this gym as a guest, to find out if it was the right fit for me. It was not! While the club is clean, with a number of great machines the trainer I was matched with acted like he was doing me a favor by talking to me. The rest of the staff was only concerned with pressuring me into buying a membership and reiterating the same sales pitch. It was a waste of time and the only work out I got was running from the sales people err I mean staff.

fresche is a "fresh" salon that is an asset for Atlanta. This salon is a big community supporter in fund raising events for different charities around the city. I always feel like the stylist listen to what I want, and give their expert advise on what would look best on me. They know what the latest styles are, but they also make it suit "my personality". The clientele can range from a local celebrity to the Grant Park neighborhood mom's. I found out about them through friends - I have never seen or heard anyone come out of fresche that didn't love their hair! They always have a fresche approach for my cuts and color and make me feel like I have style!

This hospital is part of Emory, but is located in Snellville. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The emergency room can get backed-up, but they work as fast as they can to see and help you. The rooms are nice with great hospitality. This is a great local hospital.
