With two locations and a poignant history on the back of the menu, the Flying Biscuit is a wonderful place to brunch and relax on the weekends. The funny thing about the Flying Biscuit is that there is almost always an impossible wait at both locations, yet after you're inside you forget about all that. Almost everything is served with a huge fluffy biscuit that gave them the name. They have a great kids menu of items both nutritional and kid friendly, and tons of options for vegetarians. I'm partial to the original location (listed above) simply because it's in an actual neighborhood away from the business of Midtown but both offer pretty much the same menu.

I loved this place. I was seeing people of all kinds here. Out of town, family, friends, first dates....good people watching. Great place to meet up. Easy to find. You can tell that they care. The staff has fun but the real WOW factor is in the freshness of the ingrediants. You can just tell that everything is hand picked and super fresh from the beans and produce to the meet. Really authentic and the best part is you can afford it!
Pros: service!!!
Cons: parking

Wow!!!! I am picky when it comes to my desserts. I like the homemade stuff. Fresh, like my momma used to make. We'll I have to say I had the carrot cake cheesecake. It was the best. I came all the way from Los Angeles and get it when I'm in town. I can't find anyone that makes it like Cafe Intermezzo. Every other place has been a disappointment. So now, when I come I buy a whole one. It cost a little much, but well worth it.

As a group of four, we dined at Silk looking for a nice up-scale restaurant with good food. We were not disappointed...
As a chef of Chinese cuisine I appreciate how some people find fusion-style pan-Asian to be "sacrilege" to traditional dishes. Silk completely destroys that notion with their combination of high quality ingredients, fantastic flavors, and impeccable presentation. You also never feel shorted on the food. Whether it is the Tiger-class shrimp, sea scallops (I don't know where they were from - but they were about the largest I have ever seen), or cuts of fish or steak, they are always generous portions.
The ambiance is excellent because it is quiet enough to have a romantic evening for two, but also loud enough that you feel privacy - which makes it a good environment for larger groups to attend as well (you will not feel restrained from having lively conversation). The service is what you would expect for a restaurant of this caliber: very courteous, attentive, and helpful.
Appetizer Recommendations: Grilled Duck Gyoza (potstickers), Tom Yum Mussels, Beer-Battered Sea Bass.
Entree Recommendations: Thai-style seafood noodles (spicy!), Chilean Sea Bass (I blame Silk because I may now have a new favorite fish over Swordfish), and the Triple Filet (my favorite entree).
Bon Appetit!
Pros: Fantastic fusion-style asian cuisine
Cons: Price - IT IS WORTH IT THOUGH!

She has probably cut my hair 10 times in 2 years. I have complete trust to sit down and let her go at it. She knows me well enough to go for a style that is a little cooler than I might opt for with great result. The managers and front desk staff round out a very professional experience.
Pros: Full of Ideas and concern for my feelings

I've been dining at Baraonda for years - even had my rehearsal dinner there in 2002. They cooked dishes for my rehearsal dinner that I requested - off the menu. Love them :)
I just want to point out to anyone reading these reviews and considering whether or not to go there...there are reviewers who keep saying the pizza is soggy and floppy. Real Italian pizza IS "soggy and floppy", if you will. And I'm so glad there's someone in Atlanta finally making it the right way! It melts in your mouth, and you truly experience the flavor of a proper tomato sauce, and good quality cheeses and other toppings. And yes, folding a piece in half vertically is the way to eat it :) If you want Americanized pizza, don't go to Baraonda. If you want the real thing - get to it!!!
Pros: Authentic pizza
Cons: Music is a bit loud

It has been a year since last time had a dinner at repast restaurant and went back last weekend, It was Saturday night and the place was Packed with midtown crowd. We got there earlier than our reservation so had a cocktail at bar, their coktail and wine list is excellent...we had a "repastini" thier original ginger infused martini, loved it! had two glass each.
The owner/chef ( lovely husband and Japanese wife team ) change the menu every seasons, that's so nice and you don't really find the restaurant like this in Atlanta. We had a appetizers,"pumpkin soup", "Tuna beets salad" and " mussle cook in a coconuts milk" and cheese plates. For main course, Pepper corn crusted sea bass, duck with red wine rissoto and hunger steak. Everything out-standing !! Service is excellent and professional, know about foods and wines.. Don't forget to try their dessert!
We had a such a wonderful time and give them ****** 5 stars!
Pros: romantic, out door patio, private room. wine list,
Cons: close sunday
