Pets Are People Too

There was one friendly person in the whole place- a nice lady with blond hair in a ponytail. Everyone else treated me like a number, not a customer they wanted to keep. I just moved here and am shopping for a vet, and took my dog here. Not only did they inexplicably take my dog to the back for shots, instead of doing them right in front of me as I am accustomed to, but I heard him whining a lot, and when I opened the door between the room I was in and where they were administering the shots, the vet said, very rudely, "You can wait in your room." Now I was all the way in my room and was only looking in to see what my pup was so upset about. And again she said "You can wait in your room!" The place is unattractive to boot, and the staff, save one nice woman, is abysmal. Avoid at all costs. more

Pets Are People Too is a mediocre vet clinic. I have had some individual vets who I have been very pleased with but overall I haven't been very pleased. First, i'm allergic to cats which has never caused me any problems in other vets offices. However, at PAPT, I have found that I can SEE the pet dander/hair on the floor and start sneezing almost immediately. I also have never been to the clinic without waiting for at least 30 minutes WITH an appointment on a weekday. Finally, the cost of their medications is outrageous so make sure you use one of the online places. PAPT will pricematch but I would rather shop with someone who always has cheap prices. more

Pets Are People Too (PAPT) has several convenient locations throughout Atlanta. They offer veterinary services (they have excellent vets!), boarding, and grooming, and they sell a decent variety of high quality pet food and toys. I highly recommend them for their vet services - highly skilled, caring, and sympathetic. I personally would never board my dog or cats at any clinic, but the staff there is sure to take good care of your pets if you do. more
