Thanks to Atlanta hosting the Olympics a few years back, Atlantans received a beautiful park in the middle of downtown. Adjacent to the CNN Center and Phillips Arena, this park is the site for many events throughout the year, including many great concerts. People working in surrounding buildings flock there for lunch to enjoy nice weather, and during the hot summers, kids play in the fountains that squirt water in the pattern of the Olympic logo of the five rings. It's a blast!

We always enjoy our visit to Northside Tavern. It is definitely a whole in the wall but they have excellent musicians featured, which are mostly locals, but a good time is always had by all when we go to this joint. Service is lacking, but like I said it's a whole in the wall, but a good kinda whole.
