Not sure what happened with the reviewer below, but every time I've been in Big Peach customer service has been great. Very knowledgeable staff and always very friendly and helpful. I was recently there to purchse a birthday gift for my spouse and my experience there was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Big Peach for your running/walking apparel needs.
Pros: Customer service and quality

I ready the review about being expensive and overcharging.
I walked into Trio today for the 1st time with 3 brand new pairs of shoes (Bruno,Prada, and Armani)
All needed custom fitting. I was out the door in 15 minutes with a perfect fit, trees for each pair, and it cost me a total of $30.

Outback Bikes is perfectly located in the (despite much gentrification) still delightfully rough-around the edges Euclid Ave stretch of Little Five Points.
Most of the employees look like they live in the neighborhood—tattoos, black clothes, the whole lot. And while I haven’t noticed too many shaved legs, the extensive scarring and grease-blackened hands attest to the fact that these guys know their bikes.
They sold me the first bike of my adult life, and were great about giving me ongoing tune-ups and free advice every time I came into the store.
If you’re in the market for a bike, or think you might be, drop in.

Rarely do you find a business these days where the owner answers the phone, opens the door, responds to your emails and even rings the cash register. Outback Bikes has brought a taste of Lil 5 Points Outside the Perimeter- all the way to Dacula, GA with the owner, Pete armed with an arsenal of Bianchi and Specialized Bikes in his stable.
My wife and I visited his store a few weekends ago in search of a road bike for her. I was looking for Specialized Dealers in the Gwinnett area and was pleasantly surprised to find that Outback had set up shop not far from my house. I picked them because I was familiar with their lil 5 location.
I was happy with the experience because they provided great service and they are extremely knowledgeable about what they sell. If there wasn't something on the shelf, Pete offered to have it delivered from his other location downtown. He also responded to all of my inquisitive emails.
Based on the entire experience, from my first email to swiping my credit card- I found it easy to trust this Bike Dealer because he offered a great deal, great price, excellent technical information about the bike, it's fit, other products and the bike industry. You can tell he has a passion for bikes and wants to help others find theirs.
If you are shopping for a bike, make sure to call or visit either of these locations first before making a purchase.
Their new location:
2463 Hamilton Mill Pkwy. Suite 230
Dacula GA 30019
770-945-BIKE
*We also visited the lil' 5 shop and were helped out by a very knowledgeable staffer named Amber. She was very helpful and knew her bike stuff. She was not pushy and did not make us feel like the dorky suburbanites we are. They also have a ton of bike inventory and accessories to choose from.
Pros: Locally owned- with owner who is present in the operation
Cons: Hamilton Mill location does not have as many bikes in stock as the in-town shop

This is the ONLY store that specializes in soccer that I found in all of Atlanta. I was shocked. I thought soccer was huge with kids around here? Anyways, I found it after I was disappointed with the selections at many of the big name sports stores. I was looking for a pair of cleats, and they only had the most expensive kind or the cheapest kind and nothing in between. This place had a good selection, but I didn't think the prices were very good, so I didn't end up buying anything. The guy working there was helpful though, and I wouldn't mind going back there again if I had some more money.

REI is the best place to shop if you're an outdoorsy person. And if you'll be purchasing outdoor equipment regularly, become a member. After a small registration fee it's free to maintain, and you get a dividend back every year worth 10% of whatever you purchased! They have a huge selection of camping, hiking, biking, climbing, and other-ing gear. I still need to use this year's dividend... or I'll cash it in. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and the store is well-maintained.

I am extremely impressed with Galyan's climing wall. It is a gigantic 60' high wall (largest in the SE) with 4 different levels of difficulty. It is totally free to climb, as many times as you want. They provide all the equipment (real climbing shoes & harnesses) for free too. The staff was enthusiastic about climbing and took the time to coach my child up the wall when she wanted to give up. Her face beamed a new confidence afterwards. The staff are all avid climbers themselves and took pride in their wall.
Pros: Inexpensive, Customer Service

The place to go when you want to salivate over top-of-the-line camping equipment. It's expensive but employees usually know their stuff and you know you're getting high quality gear. And REI brand is as good, if not better, than the brand-name products.
Cons: expensive

While this store doesn't have the variety of the golf superstores, it provides a good local alternative. The service is good. They are very helpful in helping you select clubs and testing your swing. They carry good lines of golf attire as well, as many golf assessories.
