We absolutely adore this place. Great outdoor dining with beautiful scenery. We almost always get the Fajitas for 2. Their perfectly cooked and seasoned Steak, Chicken and Shrimp fajitas with their Classico Tequila made with fresh lime juices. Try to go on a slow night, you will get great service. We also order their Steak salad and Taco Combos on occasion- also very good. Watch out for Cinco De Mayo at any Mexican Restaurant! A Guaranteed 3 hour wait or more!! and you know the servers were going nuts too! PS, when you are asking for additional items at the restaurant, ask for them at the same time so servers do not have to run back and forth from your table. This place is a MUST for us! It just made my hubby's night when we went here for his birthday last week!
Pros: Best fajitas and Margaritas in town
Cons: Long waits on busy nights

This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta. It has a really cool vibe and great food. I love sitting on the covered patio, you don't even feel like you are in downtown Atlanta. The building itself is an old warehouse that has been decked out with all these really cool handmade items from Mexico. If you get a chance to go, try the steak fajitas, they are the best I have ever had. Super tender and juicy, I asked what made them so good and the server told me they were marinated for 24 or 48 hours, I can't remember exactly, but DELICIOUS. I am not much of a drinker, but my husband loves the classic margaritas and definately save room for dessert. They have a chocolate and coffee bar in the furnature store. Avocado Cheesecake ??? All I can say is wow.
Pros: Great Food and Drinks
Cons: Far from Home

I stopped in because I had a 50% off coupon for their new breakfast menu. I ordered their breakfast burrito and an egg and sausage biscuit to go. Portion sizes were good, and the food was delicious, filling, and memorable.... i.e., I plan to go back for breakfast! I've also had dinner there in the past, and I LOVE their fish tacos and nachos!
Highly Recommend the short walk/drive from the CNN center!
Pros: Killer new breakfast menu with great lunch/dinner menus

I attended my sister's birthday dinner here back in July. We were told we were waiting for a large party upstairs to leave at 7:30 PM. At 8:30 we were told they were cashing out. At 9:30, a few of them lingered at the table. By 10:15 we were offered a server for the outdoor patio/waiting area. By then (having not received any service at all) we were livid and asked to speak with the manager, who told us we were welcomed to continue to wait or that we could leave. We left. Will never return. If they didnt want the $$$ of 22 paying patrons (spend hundreds at bar along - which has VERY slow service), what makes you think they want yours?
Pros: Pretty Patio and Store
Cons: Slow Service; Rude Manager

I wanted to find a restaurant to go to after my graduation ceremony at the Georgia Dome on a Saturday afternoon. We had a large group (about 20 people), and due to a miscommunication with my wife, I was only able to give 5 days notice.
I called 10 different restaurants around Atlanta, trying to find someplace that would take a group our size, on short notice, didn't charge an arm and a leg for the reservation, didn't split up the group, had reasonable prices, and didn't require driving out to the burbs.
No Mas! Cantina was the first place that said yes without requiring a payment, so I went ahead with the reservation for 5:30. I'm glad I did!
We expected the graduation to last from 2:00-4:00, and with some time for pictures afterward, and fighting the traffic to get out of the parking garage and to the restaurant, 5:30 seemed like a good time. This was the shortest graduation EVER, lasting only 45 minutes. So, we were instantly about an hour-and-a-half ahead of schedule. I called the restaurant around 3:00 to give them a heads-up, and they were able to move us up to 4:15 on VERY short notice. This was much appreciated, since they could have just as easily said too bad and made us wait until 5:30. We were seated in the upper Mezzanine level, which afforded some privacy. Toward the end of the meal, the place was pretty packed, but the restaurant was spacious enough to not make us feel cramped, crowded, or rushed.
Some of us got there 15-20 minutes early, so we had drinks at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and pleasant.
Once we got our table, the waiter made a few mistakes, bringing the wrong beverage AND dinner plate to my 88-year-old grandmother. In both instances, the waiter told us WE were the ones that told him wrong, until we pointed to the item on the menu to show him what we asked for. Only then did he apologize for his mistake and bring out the correct items. Describing food we are unfamiliar with to a waiter with a slight language barrier and a bit of an attitude was difficult. However, he was very willing to split the check a wierd way, which is uncommon for a group of that size and very much appreciated.
We had complimentary chips and very good salsa (I detected chipotle and cilantro). The margaritas were fine, and the michelada was tasty, different, and very spicy. The chips, salsa, and drinks were refilled promptly and frequently, but beyond that, the food service was slow. We were there over 2 hours with just our appetizers and main courses. It took 20 or 30 minutes for the first food to come out after we had ordered. We were enjoying the time with friends and family, so we were in no hurry. It was a leisurely-paced meal.
Only a half-mile from the Georgia Dome, the location was perfect for us. The atmosphere was lively, unique, and fun, and the food was excellent in a very unusual way. Some of the food was pricey, but there were inexpensive alternatives available too.
The Hacienda (store) and adjacent Bodega Garden were good for the women of the family to linger and peruse afterward.
Overall, this place was a great pick for our group. I would highly recommend it to anyone tired of the same-old, same-old.
Pros: food, atmosphere, uniqueness
Cons: slow service, hard to find

The food at No Mas is delicious and of course the atmosphere is great. Handmade crafts by Mexican artesanos fill the restaurant and you can even buy them at a gallery adjacent to the restaurant (No Mas is a pun as in No Mass production). The only downside is that parking is limited and on busy nights you may have to park way down the street (Valet parking is offered on some nights). Another downside is that it is hard to find, as it is tucked down an alley-like street. However, once you get there, grab a table out on the patio and order one of their excellent mojitos, it far outweighs any negatives.
Pros: Atmosphere, food
Cons: Parking, can be hard to find

I recently went there for a work party and it was awesome. Everyone had a really great time, it always helps when the boss is picking up the tab. We had a buffet with fajitas and all the fixings. It was really delicious and fresh, they kept bringing up more as we were eating so it wasn't like sometimes where if you wait to eat, you get the leftover/dried out food. The drinks were good and it had a relaxed but very festive atmosphere. I would highly recommend it for any large gathering.
