Atlanta has a lot of malls and I have been to most of them. I, personally, think Perimeter is one of the best ones out there. Phipps is the fanciest but it's best for window shopping. Lenox is my favorite overall but Perimeter is a really solid second. They have your staples like Macy's, Bloomingdales, and Nordies but they also have tons of smaller stores that round out your shopping experience. They have a Gap kids and Gymboree for the little ones. They also have a Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Sephora, Coach and a ton more for the adults. It's clean and nicely located for those who live outside the perimeter.

Personally I think Perimeter is the best mall to shop at for every day. It has everything that you really need and all of the top department stores such as Dillards and Nordstroms. It also has several really good restaurants including the Cheesecake Factory. If you need to do some shopping in Atlanta check out Perimeter. Like another poster said, the only problem is the traffic. Only go during the middle of the day or on the weekends, avoid this place at 5-7pm on weekdays.

Perimeter Mall is the best mall in Atlanta. This mall has a good location but is a little hard to get to at certain times of the day due to traffic. The parking situation is equally as bad. However, once you get there and make it inside, the mall is nice. There are great anchor stores and a large food court. The mall is nice and clean inside. There are also a number of nice shops and upscale restaurants located along the outside of the mall.

Although Perimeter Mall received a facelift a few years ago, it is still just a mall. I find nothing either spectacular or particularly bad about Perimeter. As another reviewer noted, the parking situation can be awful at times. They do offer valet service, but I have never tried this option so I cannot comment on its speed. The stores are standard mall fare - The Gap, Banana Republic, The Limited, Ann Taylor, etc. The anchor stores are on the nicer end of things - Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Macy's (with a large furniture department). I would highly recommend the DASS salon located in the mall for haircuts, coloring, and spa services.

The parking at lunch trying to get into the food court is awful. They have added a valet service if you have the time for it, it can be more accomodating. They have added a few new anchor stores to this mall, but it has not been updated in many, many years which is sorta disappointing such so many peole frequent it and it is in a Dunwoody location with upscale customers.
