I can't say I LOVE The Buckhead Diner. They don't take reservations which annoys me (not good at waiting), you have to use valet, and the food is good but overpriced in my opinion. With all that said, they do have a few items that make it a restaurant I still enjoy going to with friends. They make a Maytag blue cheese over homemade chips appetizer that is as good tasting as it is bad for your cholesterol levels. The bar serves up some nice drinks and the White chocolate banana cream pie is the stuff dreams are made of. Definitely worth a trip.

Buckhead Diner is one of those places that a lot of people w/ not so good taste buds say is amazing when it is actually just good. Their food is normal American cuizine which is nothign special, but they do have some "special" items. This restaurant is okay, but a pretty penny for what you get. There's better stuff out there, but I guess it's Buckhead so it's gonna cost more automatically w/ no increase in quality. The atmosphere was just... meh. If you got money to waste and don't care that the food doesn't compare to the price, in a negative way, by all means go.

Buckhead diner is just a regular diner type place that serves regular American Food. I can't say I was satisfied, but I was not disappointed. The only thing I didn't like was the price, which makes you expect better food. The thing is, they don't have that better food. I'd say just go to Marietta Diner if you want diner type american food. They give you more and the price is equal to the quality.

Deciding to sway from my typical route, I agreed to dine at Buckhead Diner, located on Piedmont Road, with a few friends. The first thing I noticed was the wait, we ended up waiting around 30 minutes for a party of 3 on a tuesday evening (which is very odd around Atlanta). After building up an appetite I ordered an appetizer consisting of a blue cheese marinara dip served with garlic toasted baguette strips. This course didn't taste like anything special, so for my main course I ordered the tequilla-lime flank steak, which was quite pleasant and tasty. Overall the meal cost me around $30 with a drink (more than I usually like to spend). I'd recommend the Buckhead Diner to a few friends, as although it's a bit overpriced, it's one of the better restaurants in the area.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The potato chips with maytag blue cheese are awesome. The calamari is the best I've found throughout my travels. The veal meatloaf is yummy. Don't forget desert- I've NEVER had a bad desert. Peach bread pudding and banana cream pie are my favorites. Please give this place a try. Sunday early evening (5-7) seem to be not quite so busy.

This restaurant is part of the Buckhead Life group, and I did not feel that it fits the reputation. The food was good, but my expectations were a little higher. They have a Sunday Brunch which is fairly good in terms of variety. I feel it was a bit pricey in terms of Sunday Brunch. They had a Crab Cake Benedict which was OK, but I felt they were a little dry. Their Fried Green Tomato Benedict was tasty. I was told their other food options were very good. I would definitely eat there again to try to get a different experience, but overall it is just over-rated.
