Braves baseball is quintissential Atlanta. If you're in Atlanta, you just have to go. After years in the old Fulton County Stadium, the Braves were fortunate to move to the new Turner Field, which in its former life was the Olympic Stadium. The views from every seat are pretty good, you can bring in your own food, and there's plenty of room to just stand around and mingle if you don't feel like sitting down. I discovered that if you are a Lexus owner, there is a special parking section, which costs no more than normal, but it's a very prime location. Also, they have great deals on game days and regular days throughout the year, so be sure to check up on those.

The Atlanta History Center contains much more than just the history of Atlanta. It also includes history of Georgia, the South and the nation and contains items from the early 19th century to the present. There are permanent and temporary exhibits, military items, folk art, textiles, the exquisitely restored Swan House and the Tullie Smith Farm living history center. The Atlanta History Center is much more than just history, however. It also includes a tour of the surrounding gardens and nature trails. We've enjoyed every visit here. Our only complaint is that we never have enough time to fully enjoy all the History Center has to offer.

Although this is a very basic park - open field, playground and jogging trail - I think it is a great park to take our dogs. Although we have seen people playing Frisbee or tossing a football in the field, this park is usually a pretty quiet place. If you can find it, there's even a creek in the park.

This is a terrific folk art gallery. Not the cheap painted tin that is sold on the side of the highway. This is from self taught artists. The prices reflect this too. Barbara Archer is one of the countries authorities on folk art and it shows. The exhibits are beautifully put together and you'll leave determined to buy something.

Not sure what happened with the reviewer below, but every time I've been in Big Peach customer service has been great. Very knowledgeable staff and always very friendly and helpful. I was recently there to purchse a birthday gift for my spouse and my experience there was wonderful. I would definitely recommend Big Peach for your running/walking apparel needs.
Pros: Customer service and quality

I was impressed with the museum at Turner Field. I am not a huge baseball fan but I still found the museum well done and interesting. Definately a great place to check out before or after a game and a huge hit with sports fans. The behind the scenes tour, that we did along with the museum, was also a great way to learn even more.
