Attended a Pinnocchio show. This show is purported to last one hour. It lasted 45 minutes. All tickets are $16- including children. They shoud have more competitive rates for the young ones. Puppeteer prides himself on using indigenous materials to make his puppets e.g lamp shades, wooden spoons from Salvation Army, but c'mon, I could have done this myself and set up a show for my guests right at home. The puppets were simply TACKY. The whole set up was an eyesore e.g faded cloth material and the like. $64 later, I would have been better off taking the kids to watch a movie instead. Will never go back again...you have been warned!! Pros: Ample parking Cons: Overpriced, short duration of show, low quality performance

My family went to see a show in late Aug.2008 (Ugly Duckling) and we were only a couple minutes late but the theater was a packed full house. There were a few seats separated from each other so we had to split up and sit in different areas, which was fine. Until angry parents were huffing and puffing while we try to find an extra seat. Other people came in after us and a parent yelled out "This is ridiculous" during the show. I was surprised at how rude the people were here. Parents complained more than their kids that they wouldn't be able to see the show because my head or one of my family members head was in their way, not in their kids way! We paid for our tickets just the same but the people that were there were reluctant to sharing the space. This was due to the poor seating plan the Puppetry Arts center had, which is first come first serve. But if you are in a little theater and have sold out shows people should be forced to scoot all the way to the wall so that the extra seats are open on the end. I gave it two stars only because the kids liked the show, they didn't love it. It was only 45mins but it was cute. For me as a parent, I was ready to fight before I was ready to relax and laugh with my kids. We will never go back. Pros: Cute puppet set up and puppet master lady :) Cons: Angry audience, hassle for seats, and short show

A great place to take the kids on a rainy day. Also a great attraction for your nieces and nephews. Be sure to sit as close to the front as possible so you can really see the puppets.

Went to see Winnie The Pooh with my daughter. I must say that the skills displayed by the puppeteers where outstanding! Parking was a little iffy, but the staff was as friendly as can be. The price of the tickets was abit high, but a fun time was had by all and we even got to make our own pupptets afterwards!

The exhibits are engaging. The shows are fun. Kids love it and adults enjoy it just as much. I took my young nieces to a production of Aladdin and they watched wide-eyed for the entire show. The center also puts on shows in the evenings for adults. And, I hear, this is great place for a children's birthday party.

Don't let the preconceived notion that puppets are just for children keep you from one of the shows. The center has dedicated much of its time to adult programming, which never fails to be innovative and challenging. You'll find that the interactive puppet museum engages adults just as much as children (sometimes more).
