This is THE place to go with the kids, with the date, with a group of friends even. They have six screens and for $6 each person you can watch a double feature. Now, granted it is about 100 ft. from the local landfill. And when the wind blows you really get a whiff. But it's loads of fun, they're all new feature movies and you can even sing to the show if you're in your car. I've never seen anything "inapropriate" going on, but it probably does!

This is your stereotypical indie movie house: there are no high-falutin coffee drinks or reclining seats. This is just a place to watch good movies with other people who like to watch good movies.
Home to several movie festivals throughout the year. Check often to see what's playing.

I remember going to see foreign films and other special screenings at Tara, the theater was older then most I’d ever been to. After renovation, I was thoroughly impressed with the size of the theaters and comfort of the seats. The theater still plays a mix of mainstream and foreign films and has a nice lounge area.

This was one really fun experience for me! If you go with the right attitude and don't worry about feeling silly, this is the right place to go. The food may not be 5 Star but it was better then cooking a meal, and cleaning. It was uber fun for us. We are going again, just looking for coupons to cut the cost a bit.

Starlight is a great place for a evening of just being with someone that you want to spend some quality time with. It is also a great place to take the kids and share
quality movie time as a family. The service in the concession area is good it could have a larger selection of items to choose from, just in case you don't bring all of your own goodies. The rest rooms are very good for a drive in movie theater, they are clean and stocked with tissue whenever I go. The price is great and THE SELECTION OF MOVIES CANNOT BE BEAT BY ANY THEATRE. I LOVE IT PLZ STAY 4 THE NEXT 20 YEARS. THANK YOU!

This is one of my favorite movie theatres. The line can get long to buy your tickets, especially on the weekends but it tends to move quickly. I have found though that you can usually get into a movie, even a popular one, at the last minute. Clean restrooms, comfortable seating and accomodating staff make it nice. You can also buy your tickets ahead of time and go next door to Starbucks or the restaurant/bar in the shopping center attached to the theatre.

Watching a film at the historic Garden Hills Cinema in Buckhead is like stepping back into the golden age of theaters. Unlike today's megaplexes, Garden Hills has one big screen, and a velvet curtain opens before each movie. The seats are old, too, but somehow it adds to the ambience. Garden Hills specializes in foreign and indie films. The popcorn is also some of the best in town.

Landmark's Midtown Art Cinema in midtown is a great place to catch a good movie. They mostly show independent or foreign films, but they also show some good mainstream movies as well.
The theater has 8 screens, with each usually showing a different movie. It is an older theater so it does not have stadium seating, but it isn't usually a problem unless the theater is packed.
There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance of the theater, making the clichéd dinner and a movie hard to resist.

This is the largest movie theater I have been in. Years ago, the drive-in movie theater was in the same lot. Because there are so many screens at this theater, the parking is out of hand as are the lines. You must buy tickets in advance or show up very early to purchase at the door. There is always a huge line. It just seems like too much hassle to see a movie.
