I highly recommend the furniture, lighting and rugs that are at The Mission Motif. The furniture is all solid wood with no veneer or particle board and comes in different wood and finishes. The lighting is mostly custom and it true to the period of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The rugs are all 100% wool and handknotted. Great designs such as the Ginkgo and celtic knot.

I was in awe when I first discoved The Mision Motif located in Historic Kirkwood. The furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories are all dedicated to the Arts and Crafts style also know as Mission Style, which was very popular during 1900-1925. Everying in this store is handcrafted by one of today's unique craftsman. You will not find mass produced product such as Pier One or Pottery Barn, If you want to see the finest pottery being made today you have to check out The Mission Motif.
Pros: Unique products, top quality
Cons: Some of the products can take months to produce

I was amazed when I found The Mission Motif. The Ephraim Pottery is to die for. All the products are hand crafted adhereing to the arts and crafts style. It was the perfect place to shop for period style lighting and furniture for my 1920 bungalow. I love my new hand knotted wool rug with the ginkgo motif. A must see for the arts and crafts lover. The Highland Avenue location was nice but the new Kirkwood Location on Hosea Williams Drive is grand.
Pros: Unique handcrafted products that are hard to find, plenty of parking, friendly staff, stunning showroom
Cons: Location is out of the mainstream but well with it once you get there.
