I LOVE this Pharmacy. Ira is the single most helpful pharmacist I have ever encountered. Not only does he know all of his regulars (and semi-regulars like me) by name, but he goes out of his way to make sure you understand the medication you've been prescribed, even offering helpful non-pharmaceutical products to speed your recovery. The employees are helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is generally pleasant. They even carry Burt's Bees and other alternative products. Shopping here is a great way to support local small businesses without sacrificing convenience.
Pros: Service, location, great way to support small business
Cons: slightly more expensive than chain stores, but the convenience and service make up for the slight mark-up in price.

I had been taking my dog to Briarcliff Animal Clinic for several years when I noticed a lump develop near one of her lymph nodes. Dr. McLean sent a sample off and discovered it was cancer. I could not afford to pay for chemotherapy and surgery for my dog, and with her advise, we decided to euthanize her after a few months. Dr. McLean helped me through this difficult situation and made me feel at ease with my decision. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone.

Dr. Zeinedini has been my dentist since i was a kid at the beginning of my high school career. I went one day with my mother because she is petrified of "the dentist". She chose Dr. Z because he truly takes every step to make sure that you are comfortable and taken good care of. He i a perfectionist, so no matter what it takes he takes the extra step to make sure that everything is the best that it can be. Since meeting at talking with him, I decided that I want my career to be in the same field as his. Ever since then not only has he been an amazing dentist but also a great mentor.

Dr. Julius has a long waiting list for new patients and it is really worth the wait. He is an extremely nice person and he has wonderful skills with the children. He is young and forthright and informative without being condescending. I felt comfortable asking questions and he answered them with an amazing ease.

The office staff are friendly...I don't get the feeling that I am taking up their time like I have in some Dr.'s offices. Dr. Ross himself is upbeat, knowledgable and really makes me feel that he wants to do what is right for me and my eye health, not just increase my bill. He explains things in a way I can understand without making me feel like he is having to 'dumb it down' so I'll get it. I really feel like he is on my good health "team". I will and have recommended him to everyone I know! Kudos to Dr. Ross and his staff!
Pros: He starts early enough that I can go before work.
Cons: the sunglasses they give after dilation are ugly and fall off easy. :)

I got a prescription from America's Best (by far the worst business I have ever dealt with in my life) when I lived in PA and I recently had it filled at Cumberland Pointe Eye care. The doctor gave me a discount on the frames I wanted to insure that my insurance would cover the entire cost and he was very helpful in keeping me under my limit that I wanted to spend. Upon getting the prescription, I noticed that my new glasses made my eyes hurt from constant strain so I went back the next day. They discovered that the prescription I received from America's Best wasn't even close to correct, which is of no surprise judging by the service I received there. So Cumberland Pointe gave me a new exam for $20 and sent out for my new lenses free of charge since my insurance only covers one pair of lenses a year. They have saved me hundreds of dollars and have corrected all of the errors America's Best made. I would recommend them to everyone.

King's Drugs in Peachtree Battle is a must see. They offer a wide assortment of gifts, toys and gadgets - something for everyone. Fun to browse, shop or actually get a prescription filled. Hard to find items too. I love small, non chain type pharmacy stores and this one is no exception.

I went to Dr. Robert Blasberg, a member of this group of ophthalmologists, for my regular eye check-ups. He did a good job, but I soon realized that unless you have a problem with your eyes, regular check-ups can be done for much less money with a really good optometrist.
