Yama Sushi is one of Atlanta's newest, freshest Japanese restaurants. (Considering I am usually there grubbing 3-5 times per week, I should know).
Try the Extra Spicy Super Crunchy or the Shrimp Brothers roll. Live scallops, Aji or Toro. Not to mention the Octopus salad, Special Spicy New Style Sashimi, or the myriad signature dishes Yama-san has created from scratch or the traditional Japanese dishes to which he's added a creative twist.
Great place to meet for lunch, dinner or for an icy cold bottle of top-shelf sake on a weekend. Located just north of Northridge road exit 6 (GA 400).

Camille's is one of Atlanta's best kept secrets! Located right off of the 285 exit for Chamblee Tucker Road, this deli is a heavenly experience for your taste buds! Reasonable prices for sumptuous goodies, your mouth never had it so good. Some stand out items to try are the signature Creamy Tuscan Tomato soup, any of their paninis, and be sure to try their sandwiches on the marvelous Marbled Rye bread. Each sandwich comes with salsa and chips; I dare say this may be the best salsa I ever had! Come to Camille's and lavish in their menu, you can't go wrong with any choice you made. You will leave fully satisfied guaranteed!

My office has used Joe's Catering several times for various luncheons and my brother used their services for his wedding reception. Every time the food is perfect, on time, and delicious. Plus, the owner (Mike) is very competitive with his pricing. Working with him to choose the right menu is a breeze and he takes special care to accommodate even the pickiest eaters, as well as those with special dietary needs (ie: diabetics, vegetarians). We have never been let down by his professionalism. Highly recommended!

The most fantastic chocolates are found here. They make everything with care and even take special orders (anything you ask they can make) and allow you to make customized boxes of chocolates. Try the chocolate covered pretzels and potato chips, you will not be disappointed. Even the gourmet ice cream which comes in a chocolate drenched cone is perfect. They even have sugar-free treats which great gifts for the diabetics I know. I truly have a love-hate relationship with this shop. I love everything the make and hate them for making me break my diet!

Dr. Butler is great! I drive from Alpharetta to downtown just to go to her. I have a very complex medical condition and she digs in and works with me. She is very receptive to any research or 'crazy ideas' I have and answers my questions in a way I can understand. She is my no. 1 cheerleader, always looking on the positive side, even when things are going so smooth. She does a lot of research and goes to conferences, etc. and stays areast of the latest info.

Dr Murphy and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional. They will make you feel welcome the moment you step inside their office. The same staff has been here for years and I feel that is a testament to how well they all work together. Dr Murphy is especially gentle and gives the BEST injections. I cannot feel his injections. That is very important to someone with a fear of dentists or needles. His hygienist is also very gentle and thorough in her examination of the mouth. I feel very confident with their care and highly recommend this practice.

I didn't know this place existed until a recent destination-less car trip around the piedmont/buckhead area. This place is rated top 10 sushi places in america back in '99. I mean i don't see how it could fall off the list. THe food is heavenly. I wish i had enough time to have the prix fixe, which is like 12-16 courses for like 70-85 bucks. I mean who'd think this stuff up? foie gras wrapped in kobe beef? Not to mention the variety of the freshest seafood i had ever seen. Some of this stuff i had never seen, and i'm a foodie too.

This place is to die for. Whether you are looking for a qick desert or that special cake for any occasion this place has it all. The bakery is owned by a Greek couple who make the best Greek deserts as well as traditional deserts. They have the best Bakliva as well as other popular pastries. They also carry a limited supply of cooking ingredients so you can go home and become a Greek chef yourself. The food is always made fresh daily and tastes wonderful. They also provide deserts for several local restaraunts. If you are in the area make sure to stop by this place and enjoy the great smells and tastes.
