I love visiting during Christmas. The house is beautiful. The decorations and lights during the season are awesome. It is peaceful to walk through and view the sites. Even when the house is not decorated they offer wonderful camps for children and you can view wonderous art works. The tour that is offered is worth hearing the organ. Go visit!

I love visiting during Christmas. The house is beautiful. The decorations and lights during the season are awesome. It is peaceful to walk through and view the sites. My wife and I visited Callanwolde Fine Arts Center first when it was lit up for Christmas. They do a beautiful job decorating this Tudor Mansion for the holidays. We then visited Callanwolde while we were selecting a site for our wedding reception. This was a great place, with lots of character and rooms. We didn't like how our guests would have been divided into several different rooms, so we opted out. But the staff was nice to work with and the house was really nice if you are looking for a special events facility near Virginia Highlands.

My wife and I visited Callanwolde Fine Arts Center first when it was lit up for Christmas. They do a beautiful job decorating this Tudor Mansion for the holidays. We then visited Callanwolde while we were selecting a site for our wedding reception. This was a great place, with lots of character and rooms.
