Dr. Taylor was my gyn - she was just fine until I got pregnant with my first child. She didn't give me time to ask questions (and acted annoyed that I would even have any questions), she never introduced herself to my husband (who was at every appointment), and refused to answer questions related to the 'optional' genetic testing that is available. At 16 weeks I walked out of the office crying - found Dr. Eliza Bruscato through a friend - and was THRILLED to have this amazing OB deliver first my son, then my daughter 2 and a half years later. Dr. Taylor never did learn my name (after 5 years as her patient). Dr. Bruscato sees me or my husband in our local grocery store, calls us by name, and gives us a hug. How amazing is that for an OB?!?!

I loved this practice Dr. Harrison was my main Dr. and she was outstanding not harsh or mean like what other people said on here. I am actually going to her now that she has her own practice. She helped me with my first miscarrage and all the way till the end when I gave birth to my son. She is a human being being she never gave me any thing but good service and expertise. If there was something she did not know she said just that I don't know shes not an almaniac she's a doctor so she shouldn't know it all just know your job thats all I ask. Dr. Marshall delivered my son she was good too not much differnt than Dr. Harrison I think its because she is a black women anything she does is looked at like she has a horrible attitude she behaved just like Dr. Marshall in my opinon. Dr. Durairaj and Dr. Taylor I meet only once and they seemed professional enough. In my opinion you look for professionalism, expertise and knowledge, curtsy and consistancy with a Dr. I found all that and more with Dr. Harrison and the others.

This practice has two very good doctors. Dr. Marshall and Dr. Deriraj both possess great bedside manner and listened to any concerns, regardless of how "silly". Dr. Lewis was an arrogant prick. (Lets just say it is in the best interest of his health to avoid speaking to my wife a second time in his condescending and belittling manner.) Dr. Taylor was helpful, but hurried and lacked bedside manner. Steer clear of them both at all cost.To end on a good note...Dr. Marshall is one of the rare ob/gyn doctors that has as much personality and empathy as she does medical knowledge and experience.

Dr. Marshall has been overly patient and kind dealing with our issues getting pregnant. To top it off she was accessible when one of our tests on our fetus came back questionable. I have found her to be nothing but professional and attentive in her bedside manner. She wants you as a patient to be informed but also likes to be progressive with her approach to medicine. Unfortunately, when it was time to deliver our perfect baby, Dr. Marshall wasn't on call. However, she did make time to spend with us when she was on call the following day. Amazing OBGYN, would give her recs. all day long!

Dr. Lori Marshall is a wonderful doctor. Very kind and knowledgeable. I have going to Northside Northpoint OBGYN for over 2 years and have had a great experience. Only time I had an issue was with another doctor in their practice that is no longer there. I highly recommend Dr. Marshall and Northside Northpoint OBGYN.

I switched from Dr. Taylor to Dr Marshall b/c of Taylor's lack of bedside manner and how easily she was frustrated if I asked questions. I Love Dr. Marshall she is sweet and takes her time with you. She is very clear about anything that is asked. I also had a good experience with Dr. D. She was nice as well.

I have seen Dr. Durairaj as my PCP for two and a half years now, and have been moderately impressed with her. She seems very knowledgeable and professional, but doesn't have the best bedside manner. Due to some complications with my pregnancy, I was hospitalized twice and delivered my baby early. Both Dr. Marshall and Dr. Harrison were there with me EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. They visited me during both of my hospital stays prior to delivery, as well as during my hospital stay after deliver; Dr. Durairaj did not. I also did not feel as if she was being truthful and upfront with me about the nature/seriousness of my condition. When asked, she would simply reply, "we will monitor you and see what happens". I also had some infrequent dealings with Dr. Taylor, during which she acted as if she did not care to be bothered (both when talking via phone while she was on call, as well as during a routine pregnancy visit). I would highly NOT recommend Dr. Taylor, as she seems very rude and uncaring; I would recommend Dr. Marshall, as she is very nurturing and knowledgeable; Dr. Harrison is also nurturing and did an excellent job with my C-section; Dr. Durairaj seems knowledgeable enough, but does not have that "personal touch" that I prefer in gynecologists.

I am less than impressed with this office. If you have a problem and you call them, they usually take a message and tell you that someone will call you back. I have found it to be a 50/50 shot of getting a callback. Even if you do get a callback, it's not from the doctor. I came in for testing and was told someone would call me back in 2 days with the results. A week later I called them because no one called me and was told that I needed to have two prescriptions called in. Dr Taylor is not the most pleasant person the deal with. Dr. Durairaj and Dr. Harrison are nice. Based on my experience so far (and I am into my 6th month of a high risk pregnancy), I would not recommend this practice, nor would I return - not even as a gynecological patient.
