This tour was interesting and informative. Great look at CNN around the world and you really do get to look behind the scenes. My husband and I enjoyed getting to see the news be filmed and broadcast live while we watched from above. The building is fun to look at even if you don't pay to take the tour. We thought it was very worth the money. Young kids might not find it interesting and might be bored on the tour. We would recommend it to people visiting Atlanta. There is a food-cort in the building too if you want to grab lunch while you are there. They seemed to have a lot of food options. Pros: informative Cons: no photography on the tour

I went on this tour with some people from the conference that I attended a few years ago. We got a tour of the studios (pre-anthrax threat shutdown). We missed them filming any of the shows there but it was still fun to see the studios and watch the people at work at their desks. If you get a chance, get passes to sit in on one of the shows, it will make the experience even more memorable. Plus, downstairs they have a large foodcourt just in case you go there around meal times.

A great tour even if the price is a little high ($10). There is not as much behind the scene action as I would have liked but it's pretty interesting and the escalator ride (tallest in the US) was great. The best part was being able to see the news taped live. The entire tour only lasts about an hour and I'd recommend getting tix early because they do sell out and pretty quick.

This is another great place to take out of town visitors. If you are a news fan, then this is a great tour, even if you aren't a news fan- it's worth the $10 admission! There are lots of neat facts about CNN and a tour guide will walk you through the building. They will show you a newsroom, tell you about the different news channels across the globe and you get to see a lot of neat behind the scenes things. The building is pretty nice too. When you are done, you can browse in the gift shop or eat from one of the cafes in the food court.

This tour would be good for children, and might be worth 50 minutes of an adult's time if it were free, but $10 is a huge waste of money. The one interesting thing is being able to stand behing a glass looking down at the newsroom, including watching the anchor reporting. There is no serious attempt to discuss the news process - e.g., the word "reporter" doesn't come up once! From the guide, there was a lot of repetition, and discussion of fascinating, important facts like how much the anchors are paid, and whether or not they buy their own clothes (they do). Cons: Expensive, Disappointing, Not educational
