His dental hygenists have given me the most thorough examination that I have ever received after a cleaning. And then Dr. Pauli comes in and examines me even further, checking not only my teeth, but overall oral health including signs of oral cancers, jaw issues, etc..

This is a remarkable resource in Athol that I have used. I have also used the Boston hospitals and the Leominster Hospital.
It has an excellent heliport. It is tiny, so users should take on their own responsibility and get follow ups with their own primary care physician when using the Emergency Room. The Hospital tells you to. It you have a life threatening occurrence, you will be stabilized and sent to the appropriate specialty hospital. I was.
I was treated beautifully by the technicians and Nurses. I appreciate this place. It is world class as a tiny, local hospital. If my brain or heart are in trouble I will be in Boston. AMH will get me there.

From the first time I entered here I have been well cared for and satisfied. I have had the same dentist since day one and was told I could have that so I did. Dr Mecca (?spelling?) is awesome. he has taken very good care of me and knows me by name unlike other places. They have had a couple dentists leave and new ones arrive so give it a chance. ask for my dentist and he will treat you right.

Dr. Amparo tends to deal with older patients. most of my family members are his patients. He speaks broken english, but is easy to understand. He doesn't seem to be in his profession for the money, he cares about his patients and wants to get them well not pay for a vacation home in Florida. His partner, Dr. Funa is also highly regarded.
