I had better food from the hospitals, sorry but you cannot call it Italian restaurant. Processed overpriced food! The food from restaurant chains, like Carino's restaurant is like eating at the Brown Palace compare to this.
The veal parmigiana was frozen processed meat. The .50 cents cost per portion calamari, was the lowest frozen quality on the market. You cannot even be called Italian/American food, buy a frozen TV dinner an you will have a better night. My seven years old said " this is not a meatball, tastes funny" and left it in the plate. What a waist of money and night. I'm from Italy, and I'm embarrassed to see a self claimed Italian Restaurant serve this kind of food and deceive all these customers. this is abuse. Bad...too Bad

Over the past few years, I have seen the gradual decline of Papa J's. They use to have a line out the door on weekends, now it is easy to find a place to sit. The restaurant itself is very sweet. It is small and intimate, which is nice. The pasta is good, as they have the homemade noodles and decent sauce. I don't think their quality of meat is as good as it was in the past. The staff is friendly and will go out of their way for their customers which is a nice touch.
