La Dolce Vita

La Dolce Vita is one of the most wonderful businesses in Arvada. It is very family like and they do a wonderful job of making everyone who comes in feel like they truly belong there. The coffee and food is good. It is rare to find a business that is so tuned into their customers and really cares about them-- but La Dolce Vita does. The Saturday night music is so popular that on Open Mic night, it is hard to find a seat. more

I am deeply dissapointed with the very poor image the new owners bring to our favorite coffee shop. Don't go there on Saturday morniings because the owner's family is usually occupying several tables and there aren't that many to occupy. The food selection never varies. The pastries are just frozen ready to bake items and the muffins are pre-prepared batters. The weekday morning service is extremely slow performed by one person with the new owner watching her struggle. I've seen numerous people walk out in frustration. They are obviously short on money because they also can't afford to fix equipment and often don't have a full selection of their ice creams. My last visit was highlighted by broken chairs and the women's bathroom roped and blocked off because it was out of order. I gave up today when I was going in for my coffee with my son and the owner's family was standing right in front of the main entrance all smoking cigarettes. the very large owner then made a fleeting "flipping-off" sign with finger at something they were discussing. I won't go again until I hear something changes. more

La Dolce Vita is a very comfortable coffee/pastry shop located in Arvada. They have a large variety of coffees, teas and desserts. They have amazing cinnamon rolls and their caramel rolls melt in your mouth! It is a nice place to meet a friend or just enjoy some time by yourself! more
