Classic Cigars and British Goodies on Wilson Boulevard houses one of the more impressive arrays of British wares in the D.C. area. The shop recently moved down the block t 2907 Wilson Boulevard. A few things that may catch your eye are the fridges full of Irish bacon, breakfast pudding, and bangers, as well as cold drinks such as Irn Bru (a sweet Scottish soda), Lilt (a refreshing lemon/lime soda), and Ribena (a black currant-flavored soda). The store also boasts and array of fine confections and sweets, ranging from Cadbury's Dairy Milk to Rowntree Fruit Gums! The dry goods aisle is also a delight, with the sight of the requisite Marmite and its disturbing cousin, a beefy yeast paste called Bovril, which can be made into soup stock or a delicious spread for toast! Other condiments included an alarming range of pickled spreads by Branston and Heinz, as well as Heinz’s "Salad Cream." Of course, this store doubles as a smoke shop, so it’s worth noting that smokers looking for a coffeehouse prop that’s a bit more pretentious than American Spirits will be pleased with the selection of brands ranging from 555s to Rothmans. And for the cigar enthusiast, a walk-in humidor will provide a few moments of contemplative solace.

Classic Cigars and British Goodies is a fun place to stop at if you are in the Clarendon neighborhood. They have great snacks and wonderful British treats like nutella. They have a walk in humidor, so I'm pretty sure your cigar options are endless. The staff is friendly and it's just across the street from the Clarendon Metro Stop. How convenient is that? Beware, they aren't open during the morning commute!

The only reason to go here is that they have the true imported Cadbury's chocolate- not the lousy stuff made by Hershey under the licensing agreement. The cigar selection is small- good quality, but not too many of them. The place looks like a cheap convenience store inside, I didn't much like it. Everything was so expensive that I don't know how they sold enough to remain in business there. Maybe its a front for something?
