There are few restaurants in Arlington that haven't become impersonal chains. Most big restaurants believe that you're just like the next guy walking through the doors. At those restaurants, I rarely see the management, and I frequently overpay for average food. Buck n' Loons, on the other hand, has become a part of the Arlington community. Not only does it provide a customer with top-quality food at a low price, it cherishes the individual relationships it makes with its customers. This restaurant frequently assists volunteer projects, promotes local community groups' fundraisers, provides support to all of Arlington's schools, and overall, encourages a personal motiff within its restaurant. I wish more restaurants would become more like Buck n' Loons and adopt an air of modesty, honesty, and quality. Buck n' Loons is and will remain my favorite restaurant in Arlington.

Buck 'N Loons is an Arlington institution. This fun family restaurant is located just north of the Parks Mall on Cooper Street. And their huge menu has something for everyone!
The food is good, but go for the atmosphere. Buck 'N Loons is famous for treating the Arlington high schools right and you will find plenty of local memorabilia covering the walls.
The chicken friend steak is good (if you like white gravy!) and the hamnurgers are great too. Even the chicken parm is not bad! It's basically good home cooking you eat surrounded by friends. A fun place, Buck "N Loons is basically non-smoking too - an added bonus!

This is a wounderful atmospher for high school students. They have a little bit of all the schools in arlington and Mansfield hanging on their walls to admire as you eat. As a matter of fact Mansfield high schools class of 03's football team ate there so much that they named a burger after the coach... called the shannon burger. This is also a good place to take your kids, they have a play area so that adults can sit and talk while the kids can go to the arcade room. For kids over the age on 21 they also have closed in bar.

homemade pot roast, chicken fried steaks (hand breaded), and fried pies made from scratch. Kids have a ball there because the kids menu is huge, and they have a nice game room. The owners go out of their way to please customers. Our family tries to make it in several times a week. It's the best quality food for a family who can't pay big money to eat out. "Best Burger" in Arlington.
