River Legacy park and Living Science Center is a great place to spend a Saturday. Arlington is a sea of restaurants, so it's nice to go to the park and work off some of those fatty foods. This park has it all, and the science center is a place kids love to visit. You should bring your bicycles, ride the trails, and then check out the fun facts in the science center.

This is one of the top rated swim places. The staff there takes the time and patience to work with these kids and their parents. Safety is also #1 in their minds. We have taken all of our kids there and really enjoy it. The nice thing about it is that you don't have to hunt around for someones swimming pool to participate. I like that.

River Legacy Parks is a 1,300 acre oasis on the Trinity River in the heart of North Arlington. There are over 8 miles of hiking and biking trails, much of which wind around the river and through thick forest.
The wildlife is abundant in this park. Arrive around sunup or sundown and you are sure to spot a variety of animals including: armadillos, foxes, raccoons, possums and some of the newest inhabitants the bobcat!
There are numerous picnic areas where on the weekend you will see families lounging around or throwing a frisbee. There is also an adequate amount of Restrooms and Water Fountains.
When you are at this park you truly felt you have left the city and are consumed by the tranquility and the Fresh Air!!

Over the years it has grown and now includes an outdoor education program. The camp is nestled in the woods with 3 pools, ziplines, rope courses archery and more. I was a camper a counselor and now have a child that attends. i am part of the camp thurman family.

I learned about this shoppe as my fiance is an avid cowboys fan. There is everything a cowboy fan could want and so much more. Just recently they had a book signing and the store was packed. There are also items for the lady and child cowboy fan. We purchased our daughter a cowboy cheerleader outfit for her halloween costume. Items are a bit pricey but all items are superior quality.
Great shop for collectors too as there are some rare and signed items for sale.
