I have been to the Swedish Massage School for a massage a couple of times before this Friday, but the one I had on Friday was the BEST. I am 9 months pregnant, and I got the most wonderful massage from a lady named Stephanie Adams. For the prenatal massages, they always use the certified massage therapists, not the students. She did such a great job. My back still feels much looser and it's almost been a week since the massage. I highly recommend her. She made me feel very comfortable. She talked to me when I wanted to talk and left me alone when I wanted to just relax. She was very knowledgable about the massage, given it was prenatal. The massage was very effective.

If you are looking for a low cost but EXCELLENT massage, then go to the North Texas School of Swedish Massage (NTSSM). They offer a wide variety of services and give you the option of using a student or a certified massouse. The student price is $30.00 for one FULL hour! It is just like going to a high dollar spa! They put you in a dark room with candlelight and soft music and it's very relaxing! Also, the place is very clean and I felt as good as you can feel about stripping down to your bare-bottoms and stretching out on a table with a stranger. Additionally, I would recommend LaTricia. She is a student and I don't know how much longer she'll be doing her intership, but she is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I felt like a whole new woman when I left there! Try it out!!!

I have been out here at least 3 times and have never had a bad experience. I like that they give you a choice of a male or female therapist. The only con to a place like this is that most of the students are just learning their technique, so it's not always a smooth as say a salon or spa. But the price is very fair and everyone benefits. You get a reasonable massage and they get to practice on more people. They do not have a lot of parking, but I have always managed to find a spot.

I typically go here monthly and you have a choice of a 60 minute massage w/a student or with a registered therapist. I believe the prices are now $30 (no tip permitted) for students and $50 for RMT. They're open M-F 8a-8p and normally have last minute appointments available as well. PROS: cost, location, friendlyness of massage personnel CONS: hours of operation (weekends would be nice)
