My daughters wedding was photographed by Madearis studio and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the studio and the work that was done for us. My daughters album contained all the images from both the wedding and reception...we did all the photography before the ceremony and therefore we were never waiting for things to continue. We had a great time with the staff and would recommend this studio to anyone who wants the best! We would never use anyone else for our family photography. Knowing that they are professionals is something that took all the pressure off of us...Roy was at one time the top wedding photographer in the state for over ten years, so we knew what we were getting! The best!!!! Their personalities also made the whole thing easy! As far as them standing around during the reception...that was only when everything had been done and people were dancing and partying...then we were on to the leaving and they were gone. A most wonderful experience and we would be more than happy to tell anyone what a great staff they were to work with. S.B.

Good: Madearis Studio photographed my daughter's wedding and the results were nothing less than amazing. The quality of our albums surpassed all my expectations, and will be cherished for years! Their professionalism was top notch every step of the way...ceremony shots were made respectfully and unobtrusively, shots done after were quick and orderly, and reception shots were fun and plentiful...I never even saw them sit down! Madearis has won several awards and it shows. I would highly recommend them to anyone!. Other: You will not be disappointed with service or quality, and you will personally get to know an amazingly artistic and talented team! Marie G..

I too experienced the same problems! Roy Madearis and his wife photographed our wedding and we did not at all get what we paid for. We paid for 6 hours of photography and did not receive that. The amount of pictures was not many and family members and friends took better pictures! I actually provided my pictures for Madearis to use in our wedding album. They did not get the "I do" kiss and missed several important moments of ceremony. When we asked them about why they spent a lot of the time against the walls...they replied that that was their "down time." I'm sorry, but we did not pay over $3500 for "down time!" Especially since we had both of them plus an assistant! The only good thing that came out of this was that we did receive some parent albums...but we had to ask for compensation for what they did not provide. I would not recommend them to any bride or for any occasion that you would need pictures for.

Roy Madearis photographed our wedding recently and spent the entire time (including the overtime for which we paid extra) standing around leaning on walls. The pictures taken were bad- Family members took better pictures than he did. The package we paid for was supposed to have 144 pictures in our book. He only took 126. When asked about this, he rudely told us that human error was involved and too bad. He refused to do anything about it. We paid almost $3000 for very few pictures, bad pictures and bad service. If you want good wedding photographs, please do NOT go to Madearis Studios or you will be sorry.
