This is a great school and they are located so close to home. They offer a wide range of degree plans and have some of the best professors around. They are affordable and flexible. This was a great place to take all kinds of classes.

Since I have not attended UTA as an undergrad, I can only review this university as a graduate school.
UTA is lovely, yes I used the word lovely. It is a smaller state university that offers a more personalized educational experience than other Texas schools. Registering/dropping/paying fees and all the administrative aspects of being a student here are easliy taken care of online on a simple website.
Classes for grad students (in my department) are not plentiful, but you can be assured that the classes that are available are of the highest educational quality.
True, that for a person living on campus there are not many amenities. But the area surrounding UTA (even within walking distance) offers many local eateries and is rich in culture.
Great school. (period)

Kuddos to this place as the instructors have brought out the tiger in my daughter. I have to admit that the head instructor is a bit on the loud and aggressive side and by his demeanor (I mean yelling) you can tell he has a military background. All in all the children learn to adapt to his style of teaching.
This is a very hands on school, geared to teach the children (and adults) discipline, concentration, respect, and courtesy. This is also a fight school where many of the dragons spar on friday nights.
At this school the teachers care about their students and do not hand out belts to appease the parents, they make the kids earn em.. Which teaches them a better lesson in life.

I'm might be considered by some to be phobic of hair salons due to some very bad experiences in the past. I found a great hair dresser in Mississippi but moved to Texas 2 years ago and have been scared to death to have anyone touch my hair, but I was to the point something had to be done. After weeks of research and thanks to reviews I read here about Shelton's Salon I made and appointment. I must admit, I was still worried but left with a smile on my face and my hair looked great. I'll even go back soon for color correction treatment and do so happily with out much anxiety. I highly recommend the salon, but still recommend to anyone that no matter where you go, be sure to talk to your hair dresser and don't be afraid to ask questions. Tell them what you want and if you don't know that then tell them what you don't want. You are the only one who knows what works for you and what you're looking for. You can do that here, the people here welcome your input and your questions and will work for your happiness! Not to mention, their prices are excellent they were half the price of what I used to pay for the same services. Highly recomended!!!

A great mom & pop guitar shop with excellent instruction. Instructors are the most well qualified I've seen in the area. Centrally located in Arlington. Lesson prices are reasonable for this area - $25/ half hour lesson. They also sell guitars but unless you're looking for very high end instruments I wouldn't recommend a guitar purchase there.

Ok, I must admit I am a hair snob... I have tried so hard to break off my addiction with my stlyist and colorist and I, I find it so hard. I was in desperate need of a touch up for my hi lights and needed a cut really bad, but (am on a budget) I have already exhausted all of my mad money for this month and half of next months over spring break. Ok. My man tells me he'll pay for it, but then he'd know how much I really have to pay and um I am not telling. So a friend suggested I entrust my locks to Ogle. It has a good reputation of turning out some great stylist, so I though... if it really gets messed up, I will just fork out the cash and go back to my regulars...
Well, I did not come out in tears, nor am I bald. Over all they did a pretty good job, but damn good for the money. I got low lites and hi lites and cut and some aveda elixer all for just $57..Way way way cheaper than I usually pay and I tipped the gal a handsome bit (not included in the $57).
Let me add that my hair is difficult to do. I am Asian with mid back length super coarse and thick ultra black hair. It dosen't take to color very well and to say the least I am satisfied.
Although they have not replaced my love for my regular people that charge 4 times more, they are pretty good and well worth the money.
Downside.. This is a school and just as in all schools there is alot of horse play and gossip. It is a bit of a mess. And the stylist don't really have their bedside manners yet. So it you don't mind your hair being refered to as "it" as in "what color did you put onit" or "it looks good"
You can come away happy.

This place is like a gymnastics place, but so much more. Kids get exercise for their little bodies and minds. They also offer birthday parties which would be a unique new idea for small children. It is a place that you take weekly classes like gymnastics, etc. The birthday parties are reasonably priced and different than other parties around town.

This is one small Sports store but they have one of the best and knowledgeable staffs around. I was looking for ski equipment and was told to go to Moutain Sports and I am glad I did because they have everything you need and take the time to show you how to use it. They also tell you what you really need and what you don't need. They don't just try to sell you everything for skiing that is in their store. I will go back everytime I need more ski equipment. They also carry climbing gear, snowboarding stuff, etc. Anything related to mountain sports.
