Khajuraho has a great atmosphere and well-seasoned food, but it is way over-priced for what you get. My fiance and I each got an entree and naan bread, nothing to drink, and it came to $55. Each table only gets one tiny bowl of rice to share. We wouldn't go back here again.. for the same quality and quantity, we could eat elsewhere for much much less.
Pros: good indian food
Cons: over-priced, stingy service

I fell in love with this place when I worked down the street and could spend a relaxing, hour long lunch break with my Weekend lunch special. Seriously, my dessert Kheer, all time favorite meal might just be hot and Chicken Tikka Masala, a Mango Lassi, and palak paneer. On top of the excellent food and prices, the place is a legitimately nice restaurant. Went their for Dinner on Thursday night with my wife and kids and food was great as usual and excellent service was provided for me and my family The decor, staff, and atmosphere are all great.

They are so cheap with their chicken and plus it was overprice. The portion was so small and plus for some reason I had to run to the loo, honest. I wouldn't recommend anyone goin there if they care about their digestive system, take my advice, you'll thank me later.

Despite the fact that I like curry, if I had to pick my least favorite cuisine, Indian food would be on the short list, so it was without the slightest bit of enthusiasm that I agreed to go to Khajuraho when friends suggested it. I was expecting the worst. Imagine my surprise when the meal turned out to be quite tasty. The grease factor was still present, but that's a given with Indian cuisine. Other than that, I was rather pleased, if not ecstatic. For those who like Indian food, Khajuraho gets two thumbs up.

We decided to do try out this restaurant on Friday night, but having small kids the only option was take out.Our food was ready on time, but that was the only good thing. The look of our food was rather disapointing. It look very unapetizing,we had the mix tandoory which was very dry,the tandory shrimp was spicy but tastless. The Buriany chicken was very spicy and dry too.It look that they compensate the lack of cooking skils with over spicing their food. For the quality of the food it was way overpriced. We have had a Indian food before and I have to agree that even Trader Joe's indian fare taste better.I would not recomend this restaurant, very dissapointing.

I'm not sure why so many people have had bad experiences at this great gem of a Main Line restaurant. I went to college on the Main Line and so have been going to Khajuraho since 2002. Every time I've been, the food has been delicious. The service is sometimes a bit off, but at least they don't complain about the management in front of the customers! (I have had this happen SO many places and I really hate it.) Their chicken tikka masala is delicious, and the meat is never dry nor stringy. The rice is awesome. The samosas are pretty good; I'm not really a fan of samosas in general. They use fresh mango in their lassis, according to the waiter last time I was there. The chicken korma and lamb saag are also both really good. Their naan is sometimes a bit oily but I don't eat much of that anyway. The only complaints I have are that the service is sometimes off and that they give tiny tiny glasses for wine. They ARE really really good about re-filling water glasses, and they have that soft little ice that I love.
Pros: delicious food, easy parking, byob
Cons: tiny wine glasses, service iffy

Amazing Food, Beautiful Ambience, Exceptional Service, and the best tasting food that I've ever had. I am a big fan of Indian food, and take my word for it, they know what they are serving. Everything just tastes so great, and the theme and surroundings make you feel that you are actually sitting in a royal Indian atmosphere. Two thumbs up !!
Not too pricey for the service and the quality of the food. On my visit some of the Indian celebrity had just landed there, no wonder they chose this restaurant. Bottom line is that its worth every penny. Highly recommended.
If you love Indian food, you must go there and if you don't like Indian food, you will start loving it after going there.
Pros: Food tastes amazing, Service is superb, Great ambience to be in with, Friendly staff
Cons: You kidding me, No Cons !!

Wow, what a dissapointment! After hearing glowing accolades about Khajuraho India, and having a wife who is hesitant about Indian food, which I, by the way love..we went. first off the food was okay, not great, far from the best i've had in Philly.
We had:2 cardemom flavored teas, 1 Chicken Tandoori, 1 Shrimp Tandoori, 1 Saag (spinach with Potatoes) 3 pcs. of Naan (bread),Basmati Rice, a skimpy relish plate and a skimpy bowl of raita and the dinner (with tip) was $95.00!!! WOW!!! We could have gone to a great steakhouse, gotten steaks, drinks & sides for that!! This place has a website with a menu online. Our prices charged were different.
I know that this sounds really strange, but we had an uncomfortable feeling that the Maitre'd was laughing at us when we were there.
It wasn't a very clean place either. The bottom line here is..I have had much better Indian cuisine here in Philly (as well as in the 'burbs) at more realistic pricing with more attentive service. Had I bothered to check the Citysearch reviews first, I'd have passed on this place, and that is my recommendation to you!
Pros: Convenient to Main Line
Cons: just Okay food but way overpriced

My fiance and I have officially boycotted this place. We've eaten here twice, and I have been so disappointed. First off, the place is way overpriced for food that tastes like unflavored Indian food. That defeats the purpose for going out for Indian food. The second time we ate there, we decided to try the buffet. They don't even serve chicken tikka masala for the buffet, which shows that they are cheap. Considering that's one of the most popular dishes around, I believe that it is their way of trying to get people to pay extra for it. I really don't understand why this place is rated a 9.2. Take it from an Indian girl, don't waste your money. The worst Indian restaurant I have ever eaten at.
Cons: bad food, not the cleanest place

The food was awful.
I am familiar with Indian food, and this food ws awful.
85$ for take out.
Expensive is fine, awful is not.
The mixed grill was so dry, sitting around, gross. Inedible.
The appetizers were not appetizing, they were dry, and gross.
My wife's dishes were skimpy and tasteless.
Food was also cold.
BOOOOOOOO....
