This is pedestrian thai. This is the kind of thai restaurant watered down for American palates. Having had much better thai, and more traditional since, I don't recommend this place. For people who think they are being daring, when they are really aren't at all.

Thai Pepper was my introduction to Thai food years ago, and quickly became my overall favorite restaurant. I moved away for several years, and when I returned to the area last year I immediately went to Thai Pepper for my favorite meal and was supremely disappointed - the prices had risen and the quality sank. A dish that used to have tender pieces of chicken breast now consists of a cheaper, piece-y meat that has been battered and fried. Sauces have changed, as well. It was disappointing, to say the least.

This is probably my favorite restaurant on the Main Line. All the food is plated *beautifully* and tastes *delicious* to boot. Thai Pepper does serve its own alcohol, so there is no need to BYOB. The staff are very professional and listen attentively to you. The dining room is small but the decor is quite lovely and inviting. A great value. Pros: Beautiful food, good service, nice decor

I have never written a review, but I felt this deserved one. It said on the website BYOB. so we brought a bottle a wine. They told us it was a BYOB but it had a $15 corking fee. It took 15 minutes for our waitress to notice we were there. It is not a very big place, and the only reason she noticed us becasue she wanted to refill our water glasses, which we didn't have. any yet. It took another 10 minutes to order. The appetizer was burnt, when I asked the hostess if it should be this way she said "I don't know what the food looks like". They brought us out another, that was also, burnt. We both hated our food, and the service was horrible. Please don't go!! Cons: Bad Service
