This restaurant has excellent sushi and fantastic service all for a very affordable price. If possible, try to schedule your visit on Monday or Wednesday which are 'all you can eat' sushi nights. I've eaten at a handful of other sushi bars in and around the city of Philadelphia all of which in no way compare to the taste of Kotatsu. It even has those highly entertaining hibachi grills with fabulously charming chefs. All in all, this restaurant keeps me coming back every week....sometimes twice a week.

Sorry for the corny pun, but Siamese Princess is a favorite destination of mine for Thai food. My husband and I love the creamy Masaman curry with tofu. It's chock full of fresh veggies and tofu cooked to just the right texture. Wash it down with a sweet and smoky Thai iced tea...yum! Plus, the great food is paired with friendly and attentive service.

I had no idea Poppi's even existed until we got some coupons in the mail recently & decided to give it a try. It was delicious! We usually get pizza once a week, and although Poppi's isn't our regular spot, we'll happily go there for a special treat. They've got a large selection & they promote themselves as being a green eatery.

Have eaten there many times and never had a bad meal. Try the house salad with ginger dressing. The specialty rolls are very good also. I eat sushi and sashimi and it is always fresh and tasty. You can sit outside now which is nice.
Pros: Food, service, consistent commitment to excellence
Cons: upstiars does not have much ambience

We are lucky enough to live in a state that has a Trader Joes. A location in Philly, Ardmore, Media and Wayne – There is one not far away. I have yet to purchase anything that I did not like. Trader Joes is not your typical grocery store. You will not find “weekly” specials on items or massive selections. The prices are always low and they have a large selection without offering you a million choices for a single item. It is a great place to go if you are having a party. They have a great selection of cheeses, desserts, crackers, etc. If you have pets, there cat and dog food is a big hit with the fury friends.

Very nice family owned restaurant. Large menu with many specialty dishes, as well as the more common chinese dishes. There are 2 tables inside to enjoy your meal, but most customers take out. Good parking on the street and across the street in a lot. Friendly and attentive staff
