I was just married, and had my reception here. It was just like the wedding I have pictured in my dreams! Audrey was sooo on top of her game. She was so kind, organized and was the best. She made everything so afordable for my husband and I, espically with the economy the way it is. My cake was so pretty and delicious! The food was AMAZING! Now we're expecting our first baby, and I can't wait to plan my baby shower with Audrey. Audrey and her staff are great people. They truely are great at what they do =)
Pros: I had the best wedding ever!
Cons: NONE!

fter moving quite a few times in the past, and having problems each and every time, I decided to use Cheap Local Movers after a friend of mine recommended them to me. Even though they were fully booked on the day I requested, they found a crew to do my move. I was extremely grateful and satisfied.

I live in Sierra Madre, and around 1991/1992, we had some major earthquake damage to our house. We were forced to move out for almost a year while repairs were made, and during that time we stayed at the Residence Inn in Arcadia.
The Residence Inn was just like being at home -- Except we had a maid, and we got free breakfast every morning and dinner (during the week), and we had a pool/spa/sports court! The suites are large with a full kitchen, living room, upstairs/downstairs (in our case), etc. Very nice.
We have been going back to the Residence Inn in Arcadia several times yearly ever since our stay there in 1991/1992, just to relax. Recently, they renovated the place, and the rooms are even nicer.
The rooms are pretty pricey, and I think it's best to book through their website. Also, I would suggest requesting a room NOT near the sports court, since kids like to bounce basketballs and make noise until the sports court closes, and that can be rather annoying.
PROS: Free breakfast/dinner during the week, large cozy rooms, nice area

When we arrived, there had been a mix up on our reservation. The staff at this hotel did everything they could do to make things right. They were all simply wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

First, from beginning to end, these were some of the nicest people I have dealt with as movers. They did everything they could to make the move organized, quick and pleasant. They arrived exactly on time, took less time than I thought they would, charged the exact amount they had said that they would charge. They came with all sorts of extra packing materials "just in case" and didn't charge extra when they had to use them. The price was fair, they kept in touch all along, and they were so careful with the belongings they were moving (they knew it was a move to transfer heirlooms down a generation) it was touching. I would use them again for anything, across town or, as this was, 500 miles away.

they have a few travel agents on duty, but they are generally not very busy except for during the traveling season in which they are very very busy. they have a few travel deals which are posted in the local chinese newspapers and they have really good deals if you're looking to go to las vegas. for only 30 bcuks you can go to las vegas round trip. the only setback is that you have to gamble in a certain casino for a set amount of time.
