mama carpinos has really come along. It started out pretty tiny hard to get a table at times, but they have expanded and the addition is gorgeous. The food is always good and the staff is so friendly they really treat you like family. Tom and his son make an extra effort to visit the tables and personally make sure their customers are happy. You wont be dissapointed
Pros: Great food, great atmosphere, perfect service
Cons: sometimes a bit of a wait

I have gone to Dinapoli's Fire House Restaurant many times for many reasons - dinner dates with my husband - lunches with friends - entertaining friends and family - celebrations. This place has a beautiful setting - you feel like you are sitting inside of a firehouse, firetruck and all! The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the decor is extraordinary. I recommend this place for a romantic evening too because they have private booths, soft music, soft lighting, wine, and delicious food. We need great restaurants in Apple Valley. This restaurant is definitely a keeper. It is well worth the trip.

This place is excellent. It is quite busy because of the good food. I love the tasty bread they serve you, that can be dipped in balsamic vinegar and olive oil mixed. The pastas are delicious, with a choice of a sauce with meat or without meat. It is romantic for you lovers! A great place to celebrate an Anniversary. We need good restaurants in Apple Valley, so we don't have to drive through the Narrows. And this restaurant is definitely a good addition to Apple Valley. The service is great. You get plenty of individual attention. Beautiful decor. The portions sizes are large enough that you won't leave the restaurant hungry, and you most likely will leave with some leftovers for lunch the next day. The parking has been expanded behind the restaurant. It now includes a back entrance through a new outdoor patio, hallway, and bar area. Everything about this Italian restaurant is great. You must give it at least one try to see what you think. I bet you'll be back.

WOW! I just came from Smilemakers, and what a wonderful experience! The"Big Baby" that I'am was soooo scared! When I first arrived I was greeted by the front office gals, who made me feel right a ease, we talked like we had been friends forever! they really seemed to understand my anxiety and really assured me that I was in a great place, The nurse took me back to have my exam and meet "The Dentist" for the first time, Dr Joe, he was great, I was made to feel like I was special and not just another patient.I was presented with my treatment plan and the "money lady" was so nice and helped me with all my financial questions and again went over all of my work in detail! that was a first for me! I made my next appointment and need I say I'm actually looking forward to visiting the Dentist! If your looking for a Super dental team I would say give this place a try.

I was at one of my friend's home when she was preparing a buffet for a large crowd of people. She sent her husband to a local fast-food restaurant to get containers of already prepared salads. She put them in a bowl of her own and served the large salad to her guests.
I thought that was a fabulous idea. The salads are not that expensive. There is more lettuce and goodies in one of those plastic containers than it looks like there is. The convenience is fantastic. What is one of the things that becomes so hard when entertaining - the preparing of all the food. Why not find some quick and easy steps to lighten the load? You really could use any near-by fast-food restaurant that carries salads. My friend used a fast-food pizza restaurant for her salads. Please go to the one you feel has the tastiest salads.
I go to our near-by Jack-In-The-Box for my salads. I like all of them - The Southwestern, The Club, The Oriental, etc. Each salad costs around $4.95. When you figure up the amount of goodies you would have to buy to make that same salad, the amount of time it will take to chop up everything, and the shopping involved at the grocery store to find all the ingredients, I thing $4.95 sounds like a great buy. Not only that, they give you a nice sized single serving of dressing which will top off the salads of your choice.
I know the next time I have the Super Bowl Party at my house I'm going to Jack-In-The-Box for the lettuce.

Have only been here one time but I would go back. They were very helpful people working there. If you ever need a home appliance fixed they can do it. They also sell appliances there too. They weren't that expensive. I would go back because of the helpful people that they had.

Once a Denny's, this restaurant hasn't undergone much alteration since its ownership change. The interior reflects the old times with hometown memories of Apple Valley and Victorville aerial shots. The menu still carries much of the same choices with a mom-and-pop spin on every dish. The food is fine, but tends to weigh a little heavy on the stomach. But, no matter what, the service is always welcoming.

If you're looking for delicious Chinese, American as well as Japanese cuisine, then hustle over to Star East Buffet in the Ralph's Center on Highway 18! The food is well displayed in a clean and open environment. My husband and kids always ask for a booth seat and frankly was seated at the same table three times in a row. Now the table has become our regular, we always check to see if the table is available before being seated somewhere else. Every food choice we made was not a disappointment. All dishes very fresh and great tasting. Star East Buffet has become a weekly dining place for my family of four. I especially like the orange chicken; it is tender inside and a crispy outside. We also like the shrimps and the homemade cocktail sauce. This place is quite busy therefore the food is cooked and brought out throughout the day. The service is fantastic too! The price is unbeatable. Can't ask for more in a restaurant. Star East Buffet is seriously the best buffet restaurant in the area!
