Great fun for the kids 4/17/2006

The kids love to come here as they find alot to play with. I definately think this place has seen it's days. Many of the exhibits are broken or just aren't kept up well. The kids don't seem to mind too much as they can run and play. Whether it's worth the money is up to you. I'd much rather go to a park and pay nothing for the fun! more

Great entertainment for all ages 10/17/2005

Great entertainment for all ages .. very special learning center that encourages children to touch, twist, push and pull with learning .of all kinds . Happy Baby Garden, Construction Junction, the fire truck, the heart, and Grandma’s Attic are so great for the kids .. I myself enjoyed the museum as an adult . Interaction with exhibits will intrigue, involve, and challenge children, of all ages .. they are continuing to keep building new adventure skills for all. be sure and plan a whole day of fun .we did and loved every minute .. Highly recommend to everyone . more

Children's Museum 9/4/2005

The Fox Cities Children's Museum is nice. The kids really seem to like it. They have a lot of things at the museum to entertain children of all ages. They are located right in downtown and you have to pay to park. They are somewhat expensive for what you get out of it. I don't really feel that this children's museum really "teaches" the kids anything, but it definitely entertains. They offer special events and exhibits periodically. The museum is typically kept very clean and has pleasant restrooms. They have okay hours. more

Good for Younger Kids 8/7/2005

The Fox Cities Children's Museum is a great museum to take younger kids too. All the hands on activities and exhibits are a lot of fun for them. It is a great way for them to learn and yet have fun doing it. Once the kids get a little older though, they lose interest and it gets to be a little boring for them though. So my advice is to take them when they are younger because they will enjoy it the most at that time. more

Museum 8/7/2005

Fox Cities Children's Museum is fun for the entire family. They have an area that is great for climbing and playing for the kids two and under. For the kids that are ages two to five or so they have a fire engine and police car that the kids can check out and play in. They also have a whole row of children sized shops that include a bank, grocery store, barber shop, etc. They also have a learning area of health and another of science for kids a little older. This museum offers a lot of hands on experiences that the kids just can't get elsewhere. more

Huge Variety 8/7/2005

The Fox Cities Children's Museum offers a great variety of activities for kids as well as adults. It is a fun place for the whole family to go. The kids are able to learn about somany different things, and yet everything is hands on for them making it fun to learn. They have a mini town where kids can learn about businesses, a constructions area, bubbles, nature, fire truck, plane, dress up area, and an arts and crafts area. These areas also have some fun things for adults to participate in also. more

Lots of Different Activities 8/7/2005

The Children's Museum is a great place to take kids for them to to learn something and have fun doing it, They have many different exhibits, each teaching something different. Like money, postal service, body organs, architecture, careers, and much much more. I am part of the Chemistry Club at Saint Norbert College and we do chemistry experiments for the kids that we can include them in, like making slime. It is a lot of fun for the kids, but also for us. more

great hands-on fun for kids 8/7/2005

The Fox Cities Children's Museum is located in downtown Appleton. They are a huge children's museum which offers many hands-on displays for kids. They can pilot a plane, ride on a fire engine, play doctor, or do just about anything they could imagine. They have sections for kids of toddler age all the way up to about 10-12 years of age. There are sections that are more educational, such as science related, and there are sections that are just fun, such as the kid-size stores and shops. There is even an area where kids can dress up in costumes. more
