La Rancherita is great. There is so many choices for a person like you to chose from. I love getting a meat and cheese taco, chips, and cheese dip. My fave part is the cheese dip! The people are sooooooooooooo nice. If you speak spanish, then speak it to your waiter or waitress. Visit ASAP!
Pros: they have wonderful food, artwork on the walls, and even great people!
Cons: there are some flies but there are not many

Don't judge this book by it's humble cover or it's rather solitary location - Tacos Mexico is a rare gem that sparkles on the inside. Upon entering you'll be greeted by a smiling hostess as well as the spicy scents of cumin and roasted chilis. As you're led to your table take a moment to appreciate the charming decor. You'll soon find yourselves comfortably seated with a bowl of crispy, warm tortilla chips and a side of chunky tomato salsa with just enough heat to hold your interest. Careful - they're addicting.
We sampled the chicken quesadillas - soft tortilla pockets chock full of chicken and real cheese, carnitas with salsa verde (green salsa with crispy morsels of tender pork) and several typical combination dinners that surpassed everyone's expectations. A few of us made substitutions (black beans for refried, corn tortillas for flour) and all our meals were smoothly delivered without error. Fajitas were smoking, sizzling hot platters full of beef, shrimp, or chicken (or all three), redolent with sweet, pan-fried onions and peppers. Gastronomic veterans will happily find as much to sample as diners who like to play it safe and they will accommodate the heat index if you ask them to. The portions are very generous; all priced very reasonably; and a few of our leftover dinners made for some wonderful lunches the next day.
Instead of the usual sweet tea or soda, try the horchata - a traditional Mexican rice "milk" drink made with cinnamon and sugar. My teenage son had 4 glasses, not including the one he brought home.
This is the true grit of Mexican dining - commercial chain restaurants cannot hold a candle to Tacos Mexico. You'll feel as though you're eating with "la familia" and will want return again and again.

I am a pizza fanatic that has traveled the entire U.S. and eat pizza daily. California style pizza places like Z pizza is not pizza. Chains cut corners by using lower quality ingredients but the masses do not know the difference. Johnny's probably uses the highest quality ingredients in the area. I have eaten at every pizza joint in town and Johnny's is my favorite.

Everytime we go here, we always leave satisfied and happy that we came. The food is great, and the service is fast and courteous. They are always great with the kids, and treat them as equals, and not people that are below them. The kids get to order on their own, and without being spoken to disrespectfully! This is a great family place to eat and relax. It is also a great place for a moms night out without the kids, or a date night with your hubby!!

This place has great home-made bagels and the greatest coffee. They have dozens of varieties of bagels and different flavors of syrups to put in your coffee. Everything is always fresh and if you go in the morning, the bagels are warm. They also have other wonderful breakfast items.
They have plenty of parking and plenty of seating if you want to enjoy your food there.

I grew up in Philedelphia, so I know subs (or hoagies), and Firehouse is the best. I would do Subway or Quiznos until Firehouse showed up in Apex. Now Firehouse is my favorite. Every now and then I will go back to Subway or Quizno, and I always regret not going to Firehouse. Their Italian is awesome. I love their steak or meatball subs. Their chili is good also. Go to their website to order online. I can order online, and by the time I get there, my order is ready.
Pros: Excellent food
Cons: Long lines, but a lot of people love their food

This place has wonderful pasta and pizza. The service is outstanding. Sometimes it gets a little crowded on the weekends and it is a little dark in the dining area.
The portions are hugh and you could probably share one or take some home. You can even go to their website and print off coupons.
